So I know I haven't posted in forever, but I've been a little busy with my newest addition, Nova. She's a rescue, and we think she's around a year old. Also had to include the photo of her meeting Bowie for the first time

Share about my furbaby for #RTCommunityDay ? well don't mind if I do. This is Abbie, my sweet baby girl. She's 13 and still going strong. She's adorable when she struggles to bark on command, snapping her mouth as if she's barking up to a dozen times before actual sound comes out, and it'll be the quietest little "muph." When she does bark it's like an explosion that makes me flinch even when I'm expecting it. Gets super excited when I ask her if she wants to go for a walk. If I stop to talk to a neighbor or play Pokemon Go on our walk she'll start eating grass because she gets bored. Loves rides in the car even more. She's desperate to interact with any dog she sees, but when I take her to the dog park I can't get her to stop following me and go be dog social. I have to escort her to any dog I want her to interact with. She cuddles up next to me and will lick the ever loving crap out of my arms and legs when I'm feeling sad or sick. She loves licking people anywhere at all times to show affection. She's an awesome lapdog and will fall asleep and do the little doggy dream twitching with her paws. I've never loved anyone as much as I love her, and she's been the rock in my life as I've battled for years with my past, depression and anxiety. She's the best coping mechanism, and I don't know where I'd be without her.

Hey everyone, for #RTCommunityDay decided to show off big Weiner - Toby. He's about 10-years old, he likes dirty laundry and sleeping halfway under the covers with his legs spread. 🧡

This is my sass master Rosie. She is a rescue, I adopted her from a shelter when she was one year old. She was scrawny and tiny. Mum and Dad tried to convince me to get any other cat, but I immediately fell in love with her. At the time her name was sweetie, and I hated that as a name. I called her Rose as in Ruby Rose, but we never actually used "Rose" it always became Rosie. And that is how she got her name. It is not an exaggeration to say this cat saved my life. When we got her I was at the edge of my ability to hold on. My mental health was non existent, I was a danger to myself and my family had no idea how to help me. Mum and dad decided to try a cat as a last ditch effort. I had talked about wanting one for a long time and so on boxing day we went to the SPCA and I got her. 3 years ago I moved to Japan and Rosie is with my parents now. In July I return to New Zealand and I can not wait to see my baby again. The last year and a half has seen me face set back after set back, Covid being a shit cherry on a shit sundae. So now I am returning home and will be with my baby again.
