RTX 2019 is an event that brings together gamers and game companies to celebrate the things we all love!
I don't know about anyone else, but this is my first time in Austin (currently writing from my hotel room). I know that Monty was buried in the Texas State Cemetery. I'm probably going to stop by there tomorrow, find him, say hi. I personally don't believe in the paranormal, but I do hope that he can still hear us. If anyone else wants to stop by there during their time at RTX, just do it. The guy deserved more than the card life handed to him. The least we can do is acknowledge him and say that we wish he was still here.
Hello. This will be my first RTX. I was at work and seemed to have missed the AH crew autograph sessions. Is anyone selling theirs? I would be willing to purchase them in order to meet the AH crew. Thank you!
I was really hoping to get into the session with Jeremy, but it appears they were all sold out immediately. The only thing I was able to get was Adam and Marcus, and I got Adam's autograph a couple years ago just randomly. Any chance someone would be willing to trade?
Hey guys, I wanted to give everyone a good avenue for creating possible meet ups between groups. I myself am traveling to RTX solo this year and look forward to meeting new people, grouping up for panels, or just going out for the night activities. If there is one thing that makes the RT community so unique is because we all share a common interest and can definitely build more friendships and make all those traveling for this event have the best time they can possibly have! Look forward to seeing all of you there, let’s discuss and let’s make RTX 2019 a fun event for all our community!
I thought I would start a thread for people who are donating art for the charity art auction that is on July 4th.
I've been working on this little ditty for myself and it seems to be working, so I thought it'd share. Do it! Or don't ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Equipment: 1 Kettlebell or Dumbbell (8kg or ~15lbs for women; 16kg or ~35lbs for men); a pair of furniture sliders; 1 mini band; 1 light super band; and a place to do body rows *all links are not affiliated, I own and use all products and have not been paid to endorse any of them* Do the below Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Start with 1 round. Add a round every week until you get to 5 rounds. After you can do this circuit for 5 rounds without rest, either move on to a basic weightlifting program or try it again with a heavier weight As a circuit, resting as little as possible 10 Swings (And a bit of How To) 10 Goblet Squats 10 Windmills per side 10 Sliding Leg Curls 10 Body Saws 10 Push-Ups 10 Mini-Band Side Steps per side 10 Body Rows 10 Face-Pull-Apart That's it! I provided the program now you have to provide the work. Good luck.
Here you can discuss trading badges with someone else. Please understand that you will be responsible for managing your own trades and conversations and understanding the terms of transferring ownership to another party. We will not be keeping track of these items for you. To learn more about badges and their perks, please visit https://www.rtxaustin.com/
Hey guys was making this post to see if anyone has already bought tickets for live from Austin but might have tickets that they want to sell because they are not able to attend.
Going to RTX Austin 2019 alone? Nervous about going solo? First time? Is this starting to sound awkward yet? Do none of those apply but you're just up for making some new RTX-bound friends? Well... Austin's hottest club is... The B.U.S.. Located in a back-alley box fort made of cardboard and bad decisions, The B.U.S. is the best place to find all the coolest nerds from places so exotic they've never even made it on the map. Places like Canada, a frozen wasteland north of The Wall, or California, a tropical paradise minutes away from breaking off from the mainland and becoming the next, more convenient island getaway, or even Colorado, a place where cowboys and covered wagons still roam the prairie looking for gold nuggets and moonshine. But enough about The B.U.S., let's talk about why you should check us out. Which is just us talking about The B.U.S.. We've created a Discord server for anyone heading to Austin this year wanting to get to know new people and make new friends that can experience what RTX and Austin have to offer together. Is this your first time stepping foot in Austin? We have members that have been to RTX for multiple years that can not only help you navigate the convention, but the beautiful city of Austin itself. If this isn't your first rodeo (haha, see what I did there?) but you are looking for people to hang out with this year, feel free to stop on by and we'll swap some stories. We don't bite. Hard. Look at all these nerds having fun irl: This is a server for making RTX friends and getting to know people who all found each other through a love of, or even mild fascination with, Rooster Teeth. RT brings us together, but it's all of our shared experiences and dank meme game that makes RTX more exciting and memorable. Off the main chat, we talk about movies, shows, science, news, and how we are totally not a cult. There's something for everyone here. If you're ready to join, here's the link: https://discord.gg/dWRXqfN If not, I understand. Meeting new people is tricky sometimes, but I promise we'll try our best to make you feel at home. HEADS UP: The chat is excitable and rowdy when new people join. We have safe spaces for people that want to just chill out, but the main chat is all about getting to know everyone at a crazy speed, if you dare. Just remember: Have fun!
Just to get this started up, I'll be bringing my Resident Evil Umbrella Mercenary Cosplay back, along with Fuze from Rainbow Six Siege, and a Lannister Guardsman from Game of Thrones, I would so love to see some other Resident Evil, or Game of thrones cosplays, as I already know there will be a lot of Rainbow Six cosplays coming back from last year's RTX. Might bring my Dapper Spartan back too, last two pics are from last year, and will be improved on. Lannister Guardsman Fuze Dapper Spartan. Umbrella Corp agent.
I am absolutely stoked to have been accepted as a Guardian! This will be my first year and I am so excited. Last year I attended as a fan and I knew instantly that I wanted to be a Guardian. I love helping people and so many guardians brought me joy during my time there so I hope to make others feel the same. Any other first timers? Any veteran Guardians who want to impart some tips or wisdom?
I always love talking about the great moments that stay with you for years and years after RTX. What are some awesome RTX memories you have?
Need roommates for the duration of RTX? Feel free to use this thread to help coordinate your hotel situation.
We have a looooooot of veteran RTX attendees. Share some insightful tips and advice for those who are coming to the show for the first time!
RTX HYYYYYYYPE!!!!
