Hello everyone! Apologies if this is already a thing already. All I could find is a group which doesn't seem to have had any activity for just over a year. So I have started a new group in the hopes of organizing leagues for the RT Community. There are no prizes to speak of (yet) except for bragging rights. It's all about having a good time and enjoying the competition and also helping each other improve :) If you'd be interested, the plan is to get everyone in the group so that we're not flooding the forums and we'll go from there. Please do check it out at least. Hope you decide to get involved :) Don't forget to let any other Trainers you know, know about this, the more the merrier! Here is a link to the group where everything will be organised. Hope to see you there! P.S. Any staff that want to get involved too are of course welcome :) http://roosterteeth.com/group/pkm151/
Hi guys! Okay, so this is a bit of an idea and hopefully some sort of tournament-esque project that I would love to see Roosterteeth see. Obviously, Ashley and Burnie have been apart of the Amazing Race (no spoilers but hot damn is that show stressful) and they went on the podcast saying the people they would like to see in the Race. Well, the odds of Roosterteeth sending their employees out in the world for a month would be expensive and insane. So what about one at home? So take a team of two that are known in Roosterteeth. Like in the podcast they did mention partners who would be good. But instead of legs around the world, you do legs in Roosterteeth. Instead of countries, shows! So they have a leg in RWBY, RVB, Million Dollars But. Things like that! I think it'd be a fun scavenger hunt that they set up in Stage Five--obviously similar to the Episode 100/200 of Minecraft. Geoff could do riddles. There's typically about 12 Legs in the show. So the things they could do as an example would be like. 1. Roosterteeth Home - Where it starts and ends. The basic knowledge and like finding the powerhouses of the company. 2. Red Vs Blue - "Have you ever wondered why we're here?" Find clues leading you to others obviously about Red vs Blue. A roadblock could be play Grifball against someone who's a pro at it. Diffuse Andy the Bomb (could play keep talking don't explode and use the voice over). Things like that 3. RWBY - Piece together the Crescent Rose and assemble it. It's scattered around the Prop Room. Marcus has to approve it or veto it. Has to be operational! Kill/escape and Ursa--things like that. 4. The Strangerhood - WILDCARD. 5. Immersion - Have to compete in challenges that were either in immersion or scrapped. IE Five Nights at Freddy's, Mario Kart, Side Scroller. Twist is--you get to pick one game at the beginning of the leg. Whatever game you choose you carry the inventory/a weapon from that game. So you'd have to carry like a Fat Man from Fallout 4 the whole time or a shit ton of Mario Bananas. 6. On the Spot - Survive an entire episode of On the Spot. No but for real, compete in the challenges that helped make OtS so damn good. Re-arrange the first set by memory, find the golden gus. 7. Lazer Team - You have to pick one of the 4 pieces of armor to use for the leg and during these challenges. You have to find the football stadium, locate the crash spaceship, and defeat the Worg. 8.10 Little Roosters - You have to put in order who all died from the series in the correct order (obviously there are two gavins). You have to use Chris's blade to locate the killer of the night (when it glows blue). Choose your puzzle to escape. Trapped in the floor, navigate a mouse trap minefield, life imitates art--ect. 9. RTX - A special event at RTX where our teams must compete with the fans. Find a certain cosplayer, sign the Tower of Pimps, steal something from a panel. 10. RT Shorts - Use a schematic to make a building of blocks--then use an angry bird to knock it down. Wrestle the Office Luchadores. find the right combination of the Time Macrowave to kill Hitler! 11. Freeplay - Most anything from this show can be used to do again as challenges. 12. Roosterteeth Home - Go back to where it all began and collect one item from each set that represents how awesome Roosterteeth is (the helmet of an RvB Character, the Crescent Rose, a photo of the Strangerhood, an Immersion lab coat, the Golden Gus, an armor piece from Lazer Team, the poem from 10 Little Roosters, an RTX Lanyard, the cock sock from Failed Product Ideas, the helmet from the Sumo Wrestle Freeplay that should have helped Meg) Winners get to donate to a charity of their choice maybe? Something along those like "it's for a good cause" lines! There's 11 teams in an Amazing Race season. I'd love to see: 1. Ryan & Meg 2. Michael & Gavin 3. Miles & Kerry 4. Lindsey & Barbra 5. Adam Kovic & James 6. Tyler & Mariel 7. Adam & Joel 8. Burnie & Ashley 9. Jack & Geoff 10. Jeremy & Matt 11. Aaron & Chris Others I'd like to see would be: Gavin & Dan Blaine & Aaron Lawrence & Bruce Burnie & Gus Gus & Barbra Idk. Any thoughts?
Hello all you Halo 5 Players, as some of you may know the world competition for Halo 5 was recently announced (in a relative sense). I am currently looking for a 4th member for my team by the name of Project Freelancer (^_^). If you are interested please e-mail me at dawnofhappiness2015@gmail.com, or direct message me on the site. I will be checking daily for various responses. All are welcome for at least a try out, and if not, please read to through the next section. The team so far consists of 2 veteran competitive halo players (including myself) and is hosted on the MLG Gamebattles website. For those of you not interested, or weren't quite what we are looking for, I would like to start a weekly private session and would love for you to join me! Of course this would be primarily for Halo, but due to the number of amazing games out this season and depending on the number of responses this gets, there is a good chance that we may expand into other titles. Again, if you are interested you can e-mail me at the previous e-mail account or through a DM, I only ask that you preface your response accordingly. Regardless of if you are looking to go pro or just mess around, I encourage you to take part in the Halo 5 World competition ladder (be it on my team or not) and represent the RT community. My aim is to keep the connections that we may briefly make with one another ;D.
I was thinking of organizing some kind of league or tournament based off the GBA format or Pokemon draft format. For a basic overlook of what it will be about can be found here www.youtube.com/watch?v=qwX36V3OOm8 and www.youtube.com/watch?v=PoBtfDMM8z4 . There would be a few different things that can change with the draft such as which pokemon will be banned. Since it would be a draft format we would need a way for everyone to communicate for the draft process and if we do a league we can a flexibility with schedules, if we do a tournament it would be more likely a weekend event. You would need a way to access the pokemon you draft and they have to have legit movesets. Once you complete a battle we will verify results by uploading the battle video and posting the video code so we can verify the results. If interested just comment and we can see what interest we get and see what we can set up. Once last thing in the sport like spirit of this format i would like people to come up with team names based of professional sports teams with a pokemon twist. For example mines would be the Philadelphia Flygons based off the Philadelphia Flyers,
2 Friends and I are starting an ACTIVE Online Dynasty for NCAA Football 13. I will be advancing the week every Saturday whether everyone has played or not. If you do not play you are leaving it up to the CPUs. If you are found playing an offline game against a user that was not pre approved you will be kicked. You will be in charge of scheduling user vs. user games. Remember it will be advanced every Saturday. We will be playing multi seasons so recruiting will be recommended as well. Only 1 user created prospect is allowed each season for each user. (Max 12 user created prospects if Dynasty is full.) I will be starting the Dynasty Season next Saturday, April 11. Message Jackerdoom on XBOX Live for an invite to the Dynasty. Post edited 4/01/15 8:26PM
So I'd like to host a Smite tournament in the summer (after my exams in june), preferably it would be 5v5 and therefore allow solo smiters (like myself) to join up with some likeminded people and play. And if it went well we could make it a regular thing. Any feedback would be useful so if you guys think it'd be a good idea we could either set one up on the Achievement hunter side of things or just work out details here. Post edited 2/18/15 5:15PM
This isn't really a tournament but my friends and I over at RTNY, our community group made up of people from the New York State area, are putting together a sort of versus style game night for January 17th. Full detail are Here But basically we are looking for people to challenge us to just about any game on any platform. Then if we can comply with your challenge we'll have our match on the night of January 17th. During which we'll stream the whole event via our twitch channel. I think this is a great way to bring the community together for night of games. I hope everyone who can will issue us a challenge and I look forward to see you there.
Basically players pick wrestlers in 2K14, they go head to head in a simulation affair where the winner advances on. I'm running the PS3 version, and have all DLC's except Biker Taker. I'm hoping for at least 8 people, if we need to go 16/32, I'm all for that as well. Males only, because of the whole male can't wrestle females issue, and we are only using wrestlers actually in the game, no caws. Match types will be randomized, to provide some crazy entertainment. www.thesmackdownhotel.com/wwe2k14/roster/ has the full roster for you.
I am starting a group to organize all of RT's E-sports fans in one spot. Feel free to give me feedback join and ask for an admin position if you are knowledgeable about one of the other listed games. roosterteeth.com/groups/profile.php?id=18039

Anybody interested?
So, I think it would be kinda cool to host a Hearthstone: Heroes of Warcraft tournament with the RT Community. I already have the rules figured out, so if anyone is interested just let me know :) Quick Summary of the Rules -All heroes allowed (Even Anduin) -No Legendary Decks -Best 2 outta 3 for each grouping of players -If there is a connection error, a rematch will be allowed. (However, that doesn't mean shut your internet off if you're losing terribly - Be a good sport and accept the loss ) -You may enter 3 different decks to swap out during matches in the Tournament. (Will change/remove if people don't like this one) -And this isn't really a rule, but when I get 4 people interested I will make a group for the tournament If you're interested, post here or PM me. Until then, happy gaming
