Inspired by Fragger's Retro Active: Eternal Darkness (watch if you haven't), I decided create this topic since all others involving it are seven years old. Basically, I just want to discuss what made this game fun, best insanity moments, and other such things. I expect there to be some spoilers since it is ten years old.

First off, I just want to say that this is one of my favorite games, which says a lot since I do not play horror games. Ever. Now that I got that out of the way, I think my favorite gimmick in the game is how you have to play the game with each alignment for the full ending. Some might view it as a waste of time, but I liked it because it did change the gameplay. Enemies had different weakness and you learned different spells. So each playthrough was differerent, even if the story was the same.

And I have 2 favorite insanity moments. One comes about halfway through the game, cannot be avoided, and while I don't want to spoil this one I will say that when you see it for the first time and you aren't expecting it, it will throw you into a fit of rage. The other is the phone call. "Remember me, Alex?" Sends a chill up my spine every time.
