How is everyone's weekends looking? Naturally, as a Proud Brit - God bless Earl Grey etc., etc. - it's already well into Saturday here, for which I feel I should have more to show already (woke at 5am - routine from weekday work - so went for a jog; went to the gym as well, because I am clearly a masochist; fired up the Xbox One for its weekly session and played some Remnant 1, which was one of my favourite games of 2019. And that's about it, thanks to my body complaining about the early effort and demanding a nap in the afternoon) Plans for Sunday would be the usual - take mum to church, health permitting; help prep dinner, as Sunday dinner is the big meal of the week, and otherwise do all the little tidying jobs that comes from with essentially keeping a home running. However, I've got a couple of extras to deal with as well: - upgrade Patreon membership to tier 2 (check, done - it felt unnatural not having a sponsor star after so many, many years with one previously) - I'm getting thoughts together to write my views on the site as it currently stands - we're trying to tidy and sort through everything, room by room, as the place here needs a major clear out. As such, mum's mood permitting, we need to start going through my late dad's clothes for what is suitable for charity and what was just worn to rags. I'm hard-edged and/or emotionally repressed enough that I should be fine, but my mum has naturally been getting tearful (I make it clear we can keep whatever we need; but there is an accptance that we cannot just leave everything as-is right now) Yeah. Let's see how all that goes. Anyone else have plans, or at least routines to follow?
