As I'm sure a few people may be aware, the lead singer of The Tragically Hip Gord Downie died last night after a long struggle with cancer. So I thought this would be a place for people to either post about the first time they can remember hearing The Hip, what their music may have meant to you or some of your favourite concert memories.

I'll never forget going to see them in Winnipeg during the second Fully Completely tour, was just a great show with entire album and a few of their other hits thrown in for good measure.

My top three favourite songs have to be Wheat Kings, Fiddlers Green and The Darkest One.
