The book "Armor" written by John Steakley in 1984 has its initial first chapter(s) about an elite soldier in scout armor called "Felix". It is interesting to me how Bungee designed a suit called the "Scout" armor and RT developed a character for RvB called "Felix" who is also an elite soldier and who also wears scout armor. In the image you can see the book cover armor  (book cover art by James Gurney) on the left and Felix's scout armor on the right. To me they seem to have huge similarities and I wonder if it was the inspiration for Bungee and RT.
