As a creative, for me Rooster Teeth wasn't just a place for entertainment, it was a place for inspiration. The willingness it showed to reach into new types of content outside RvB, from anime to live action shorts to a podcast before it was cool to a convention, gaming videos, a cursing summer camp cartoon, ghost hunting prank show, Garbo Tuesday, and so many of the dumbest fucking shirts on the planet.
Burnie, Miles, Geoff, Trevor, and so many of the amazing people working here over the years inspired me to be a better creator, better person, and better date.
Now in 2024, I'm tired. Constantly fighting the comfort of being a content consumer instead of putting in the effort to create the life I want for myself. I just know the final seasons of RvB and Camp Camp, along with Burnie's independent return, are going to inspire me to overcome that feeling. It really felt like Rooster Teeth was returning to its roots, the roots that inspired me all these years, and I was looking forward to seeing them rise again. So that I could, too.
If any creatives want to help start a company like this one, one that takes creative risks, stays authentic, and brings joy -- comment here. I won't be able to figure it out on my own.
