More Camp Camp?

I'm so excited to see what new original programs come out of this, but as far as existing series, I deeply hope that we can get more Camp Camp. WFLT was a great finale, but Season 5 had me excited about more and seeing the show evolve, not sticking to a floating timeline and letting the characters grow and change and age. Then the shutdown happened right when it started :(

Nomad of Nowhere Season 2

I just watched the show and I loved it!  Nomad is a real cute likable character.  I hope there'll be a season 2!  I hope we can find out about the further adventures of Nomad and Scout!

Weird Place (thoughts and I guess ideas)

TL-DR I love the show, want to see more. Think longer seasons and/or episodes will make show better First if there is a better place for this post tell me and I'll move it there. While I've tried to avoid spoilers, there are a few            I've been really loving the show so far.  The prime concept of the charismatic achievement hunter staff ending up in a weird place and running a maze/course with puzzles is awesome. Love watching them solve puzzles while also cracking jokes and horsing around. I can see a lot of work and thought went into it. I would even say this show and "Achievement Haunter" alone make the cost of first membership worth it. I really appreciate how achievement hunter is expanding and trying new ideas while still also producing gaming content. There are a few things as a viewer I've thought about and wanted to express to RT on the off chance it helps make the show better.  I really want this show to do well as its definitely something I would watch regularly and really enjoy a season 2.                    My first thought deals specifically with the third episode. With each episode being around 15 minutes and it only being 4 episodes, kinda stinks that episode 3 was nothing but a recap episode with really only the reveal towards the end. I understand that the deciesion for this episode might be due to editing, unexpected circumstances, or pacing. However, I believe that exploring Jack's or Jeff's adventures in the weird place or heck even some crazy shindigs at the offices(even if they were scripted scenes) would have been better use of the time spent recapping the first two episodes. A behind the scenes, bloopers, or showing cut parts or, fast forwarded parts(the music mimic puzzle alone looks to have enough time) would be another way that this episode would have brought more.  Instead, its a recap that is only 15 minutes less than literally just watching both episodes. The ideas I mentioned also would use mostly existing footage and/or resources so it wouldn't require too much more work than was already put into the episode.              While I understand that it is a new idea and the production cost and time of this show is probably more than others, I definitely think longer seasons or episodes would help this show. It feels like season 1 was filmed mostly in one day.  I imagine the time, space, and cost to create and build the weird place was part of that decision.  Another was the idea of them being "trapped" in the weird place and the time running through the maze/course/game.  While, it would require changing the "course" from being completed in one setting to multiple settings, more episodes in a season would give the creators a lot more options in a lot of areas of the show.   There is a lore to the "weird place" that gets hinted at. More episodes allows that to get explored more simply because we are "in" the weird place longer.  The puzzles can get a lot more complex and the types of puzzles you can do increase from having more episodes as well.  The shows format with more episodes might also allow for variation such as team puzzles where the loser is punished in some way. Increasing the time per episode would also improve these same areas.  While the production time and cost would increase with suggestions, it also increases the quality (if developed with the same care/detail it currently has).  Also I feel like if there were more episodes and more run time per episode, adding in sponsers, brief ads, or commercials becomes possible( which may help with the increases production cost). More episodes and runtime might also make the show more alluring to outside networks such as TV or streaming services which in turn increases viewership and profit. So really my only sizable suggestion is I would like to see more of this.  Sorry for the length- this started as a comment on episode 3 and sort of got too long for that.

Raven Branwen and Yang Xiao Long VS Qrow Branwen and Ruby Rose FAMILY FEUD

Can we get this tag team RWBY smackdown?  I would love to see this. My bet is on Yang and Raven, as absorbing damage and maiden powers probabky win against turning into birds and super speed, but it would definatey be close.

Gen:Lock Shipping

With such dynamic characters, it seems wrong that there isn't a shipping thread already, also Gen:Lock deserves a separate sub forum..

Identifying This?

Um not sure this is the right spot to put this but I was hoping someone could help me identify an RT show. Way back during RWBY Vol. 4 (I think?) it was back before the site got the makeover I know the much before a show would start when an ad would play I remember a trailer playing of a live action show involving time and I remember a portal at the end. I'm pretty sure it was an RT show but for the life of me I can't remember its name or find it. So I was hoping someone could help me identify sorry if wasn't an RT original (it sounded like one) or if this is the wrong forum again wasn't sure where to post this. If anyone can help I'd be grateful. Thank you.

Nomad of Nowhere: In-Depth Discussion/Speculation/Spoilers (The Don's Showdown)

Welcome aboard to the full thread for the upcoming RTAnimated 2D Show, Nomad of Nowhere. Nomad of Nowhere, is being directed by Jordan Cwierz (RTAA/Camp Camp), as it will contain elements of multiple forms of entertainment, but as always; rules are important in this regard. So, to establish them.. ~~~ 1: Write safely: Now, Grammar is always a good thing to do; but not everyone is the best at writing. As long as you make sure that you make sure that your posts are handled with care, it'll be great for everyone to know what you deeply mean by what you do say. 2: Conducting Yourself safely: The forum is a shared space. And while most content from Rooster Teeth does cater to adults, it has gone to a level that can be catered for anyone, even some younger children at times. And for the sake of making sure that it's fun for everyone, so please do not come into the thread to cause an issue or to anger and upset the guests. It is almost guaranteed you’ll disagree with someone else here but acknowledging that and asserting your opinion are not mutually exclusive. Keep in mind a good argument is more persuasive than yelling, screaming, and tearing into someone else’s character. Also be aware that first impressions can last. Try and present yourself with your best foot forward to start a successful journey through the thread. That being said, Rooster Teeth is also an place that is viewed publicly and along various other places throughout the globe. So, as a fair warning; do keep the conversations here to a hard PG13 level. Now at Rooster Teeth, it is a site that does bring in language and that a lot of individuals have sweared at times. But for the love of all things, please do not trash this thread with content that isn't suitable here. Now, there is more material that should be looked at with the Terms of usage, so I highly recommend checking it out. Although, you will be reported if you do cross that line either too far or far too often. 3: Spoilers: As always, Rooster Teeth has the spoiler tag. Although this thread is being created to talk about the upcoming show, once we get to more material that would be suggestive to be potentially classified as spoilers; please tag the spoilers even in the thread. With the current release schedule of animated content for Rooster Teeth, please keep this in mind for those especially that wait for when it releases a week after the original release on Youtube (for the given episode/chapter of Nomad of Nowhere). And as always; please to keep in mind that it'd be wise to give time especially if you are a FIRST member. It is highly important that you keep yourself in check as more information comes out. 3: Lurkers : Now in this case, it's an situation to where it may not actually be an issue in many way's. In-fact, It is very much actually encouraged. By watching the thread you can see what is the tone and tempo of the conversation going on now. Also, instead of bringing up the same point over and over again, if you found something you want to continue talking about, you can reply to that thought someone else had and you’ve already got a foot in the door. Be careful though, if a topic is older (like a week) you may want to preface your statement or idea again. The key part of lurking is gaining a sense of where the conversation is at. It’s actually free to pay attention. 4: Being very On Topic: On the Rooster Teeth website (or any website), there are many threads; very similar to this, that a particular purpose that is in play. This is a rule that should be taken into note here. Try to please be respectful of that in-which. This for the most part, isn't a chat room. That being said, there are many threads elsewhere on the site to speak generally (like talking inside of a Bar) and that you would be very much more respected and more welcome over there. As to what this rule is, what consists particularly on the show itself or to materials related to the show itself, is completely fine. If you want to call out similarities of what previous seasons have shared with other topics in pop culture is also completely fine. If you need to make a point about the conversation that has to be said, please do. But; always remember that this thread will be centered around the new series and that anything related to any point of the discussion should be brought back to it (although not all, as some individuals could get distracted in the middle of anything. 5: Organize Your Thoughts: When reviewing the conversation in the thread, do not make an individual reply to everything. Try and make all of your points in one post with multiple replies. You can help distinguish where your statements are meant to go in the over-all conversation, but the “reply” function will help you for that. Post-spamming really just gums up the page and doesn’t present you that well either. 6: We are a team: Like the previous point, this one is about not dominating the conversation. All of us are all on different internet connections across the globe, with different speeds as well as having different schedules and circumstances that may effect when and how often we speak. If you have a lot to say, a double post would make sense; but try to leave time and space for someone else to talk too. If you are the last person to have posted and you have a really cool new idea, please give some time that would make sense if possible. The thread succeeds and benefits when we are talking WITH people, not AT people.  7: Enjoy Yourselves: Rooster Teeth has always been one of the best companies when it comes to communication with it's fan-base. And that we also have an amazing time together that should great and highly respectful of what we do and do not like when it comes to Nomad of Nowhere (and even then, that should be a great thing to look towards). It'd be great to allow many individuals to have fun and to talk too when it comes to this. And as always; conversations will always start up, and if you have nothing to add; then that's fine. This is a place that everyone should have equal and fair opinions, and as long as we have fun while doing so; it'll be worth it in the end. And even if we reach a crawl, we have threads set up for other Rooster Teeth animated show's like Red vs. Blue, gen:LOCK, and RWBY Chibi for those looking to still discuss animated shows from Rooster Teeth Productions. ~~~ Now, it is understandable that there will be issues that will always occur within the grand scheme of things. And as long as we all enjoy ourselves and to embrace this new animated series in the best way possible; I highly encourage everyone to have fun and play safe in the discussion for the future of the Nomad of Nowhere!! And for now, let us begin!! ________ And as always, please don't act like an fool and to please look around for the Forum Yeti's that roam about. _________ NEWS Jordan's post of the new show Rooster Teeth's 2018 Animation Slate | Collider _________

Master and Aprentice

I didn't see anyone start this thread yet, so I figured I start one. So far only the pilot episode has come out where they made the destiny gun, and so far I am enjoying the format of the show and the way they explained everything. I did think the episode was a little short, but considering it is basically a pilot episode it is understandable that it would be short to just give the audience an idea about the show. it looks like the next episode seems to be longer. As someone who one day hopes to have his own cospaly I think this show will be very informative for someone like me who has never made a cosplay before. i would like to hear everyone else's thoughts.

#Day5Drinks: The Unofficial Drinking Game

Hi friends! Season 2 of Day 5 premiered like, AN HOUR AGO and I realized I posted this everywhere except the forums! HEADS UP: downgrade the "RT cameo" shot to a DRINK for episode 1. It's not a spoiler if it saves you a trip to get your stomach pumped. DRINK RESPONSIBLY, DIPSHITS. (I'm yelling at you because I care about your health) I hope you all enjoy this, @Tropes and I worked very hard on it when we got drunk last year watching Day 5 and made up half of these rules. Some other awesome people contributed this year and I will 100% update the credits on this tomorrow, I promise.

gen:LOCK | In Depth Discussion/Spoilers, Welcome to Showtime

Good day to you all, and welcome to the Gen:Lock In-Depth Discussion/Speculation thread! Hello everyone, and welcome to the Gen:Lock Thread, to where we talk about the brand new series. Now, as some of you may be wondering; why are we starting this thread early? One reason in particular, is that it would allow a much more in-depth thread for the show's now confirmed fifth season from Variety. This is also for allowing any discussion of the upcoming season to pop up here, including rumors; speculation and much more. With that as-well. Now with that said, there are some rules to be had with the thread itself, and that I am wanting to make sure that this thread is user-friendly and enjoyable for everyone. That being said..   ~~~ 1: Write safely: Now, Grammar is always a good thing to do; but not everyone is the best at writing. As this will be the first thread about it, Gen:Lock was officially unveiled publicly at RTXAustin in 2017, as the latest in Rooster Teeth Animation's growing roster of animated content, and that it will be joining in the 3D group, as the fourth 3D Animated series for the animation division. The new RT Original, will be written and directed by RTAnimation head Gray Haddock, voice of Roman Torchwick in RWBY/RWBYChibi and Sam/Locus from Red vs. Blue; as it will be Rooster Teeth's first mech show.  gen:LOCK is now available on Rooster Teeth, Crunchyroll, and VRV.

RT Docs Discussion

I just watched the new doc Unconventional and I was wondering, did anyone else have a complete and total misconception of furries and fur-culture? I had a total paradigm shift from that part of the doc.

On The Spot Worst Moments

So I don't really watch On The Spot. The only times I've watched all the way through is The Geoff Episode and The Cow Chop episode. I was wondering if there is any other Episodes where everything just goes to shit. Also what is your favorite "worst" moment?

RT docs idea

So I just finished watching "Haus of Pain" and I randomly came up with what I thought would be an interesting RT doc. I don't know how into MMO's they are now, but I know Jack used to play WoW and Lawrence plays FF14 so my idea is with the release of Stormblood for FF14 coming out soon, how about a doc on progression raiding? There's a lot that goes into a world first attempt of a boss, but even more so with a new expansion. It could give insight into how they select which classes they bring into which fights, the power shift of a new expansion, especially this one that's bringing in 2 new DPS classes, the strats they use for the bosses, the strain of wiping over and over to the same boss or even the same mechanic for hours on end, the kind of prep work they go into beforehand to prepare, and the sweet final downing of the boss. Just a random 5AM thought that popped into my head.
