Weird Place (thoughts and I guess ideas)

TL-DR I love the show, want to see more. Think longer seasons and/or episodes will make show better

First if there is a better place for this post tell me and I'll move it there.

While I've tried to avoid spoilers, there are a few

I've been really loving the show so far.  The prime concept of the charismatic achievement hunter staff ending up in a weird place and running a maze/course with puzzles is awesome. Love watching them solve puzzles while also cracking jokes and horsing around. I can see a lot of work and thought went into it. I would even say this show and "Achievement Haunter" alone make the cost of first membership worth it. I really appreciate how achievement hunter is expanding and trying new ideas while still also producing gaming content. There are a few things as a viewer I've thought about and wanted to express to RT on the off chance it helps make the show better.  I really want this show to do well as its definitely something I would watch regularly and really enjoy a season 2.

My first thought deals specifically with the third episode. With each episode being around 15 minutes and it only being 4 episodes, kinda stinks that episode 3 was nothing but a recap episode with really only the reveal towards the end. I understand that the deciesion for this episode might be due to editing, unexpected circumstances, or pacing. However, I believe that exploring Jack's or Jeff's adventures in the weird place or heck even some crazy shindigs at the offices(even if they were scripted scenes) would have been better use of the time spent recapping the first two episodes. A behind the scenes, bloopers, or showing cut parts or, fast forwarded parts(the music mimic puzzle alone looks to have enough time) would be another way that this episode would have brought more.  Instead, its a recap that is only 15 minutes less than literally just watching both episodes. The ideas I mentioned also would use mostly existing footage and/or resources so it wouldn't require too much more work than was already put into the episode.

While I understand that it is a new idea and the production cost and time of this show is probably more than others, I definitely think longer seasons or episodes would help this show. It feels like season 1 was filmed mostly in one day.  I imagine the time, space, and cost to create and build the weird place was part of that decision.  Another was the idea of them being "trapped" in the weird place and the time running through the maze/course/game.  While, it would require changing the "course" from being completed in one setting to multiple settings, more episodes in a season would give the creators a lot more options in a lot of areas of the show.   There is a lore to the "weird place" that gets hinted at. More episodes allows that to get explored more simply because we are "in" the weird place longer.  The puzzles can get a lot more complex and the types of puzzles you can do increase from having more episodes as well.  The shows format with more episodes might also allow for variation such as team puzzles where the loser is punished in some way. Increasing the time per episode would also improve these same areas.  While the production time and cost would increase with suggestions, it also increases the quality (if developed with the same care/detail it currently has).  Also I feel like if there were more episodes and more run time per episode, adding in sponsers, brief ads, or commercials becomes possible( which may help with the increases production cost). More episodes and runtime might also make the show more alluring to outside networks such as TV or streaming services which in turn increases viewership and profit.

So really my only sizable suggestion is I would like to see more of this.  Sorry for the length- this started as a comment on episode 3 and sort of got too long for that.
