Suggestions for Improving RvB's Viewing Experience

Been using the site for over a week now and I've been having a blast going through forums and watching old videos, but I just wanted to bring attention to a number of inconsistencies and organizational problems with the current RvB catalog available on the site. I've also wrote out some suggestions I believe could significantly improve the site's usability and completeness for the entire RvB series. Issues: 1. ) Season 1, Episode 18 incorrectly plays Episode 19. 2.) Many episodes from the Blood Gulch Chronicles are incorrectly dated. 3.) Sponsor scenes from the Recollection are missing entirely. 4.) Season 9’s episode order is incorrect, and Episode 8 displays its YouTube thumbnail rather than the matching style used across the rest of the season. 5.) Several videos, such as the episodic release of the Chorus Journals, Season 3 Episode 45.9, Season 5’s alternate B and C endings, and the TRL video, are only found under "RT Sponsor Cut" and not in any RvB-related category. 6.) Drunk RvB is also listed under "RT Extras" rather than within an RvB-related category. 7.) RvB Zero’s trailer is listed as a numbered episode when it should be placed in the bonus features section instead. 8.) Most bonus features and certain miniseries' (Out of Mind for example) are either completely unorganized or entirely missing. Suggestions: 1.) Consolidate the RvB content into three clear, curated channels: * A channel for the main show, organized by saga (Blood Gulch, Recollection, Freelancer, Chorus, Shisno, Zero, Restoration). * A channel for the PSAs. * A channel for the Complete series of videos. This would reduce the current sprawl of 11 channels and significantly improve navigation of the series and the greater site as a whole. 2.) Integrate canon trailers and miniseries more logically: * Trailers for Seasons 6, 7, 11–13, and Restoration should be included in their corresponding season episode counts. * Canon miniseries (Out of Mind, Recovery One, Relocated, MIA, WTaWTaW, Chorus Journals) should appear as distinct season-like options instead of being buried under bonus features. 3.) Ensure that side content appears in its appropriate places: * Videos like Drunk RvB and the Chorus Journals should appear in RvB channels or be cross-listed in both their original locations and within the RvB series collections. This ensures fans don't miss out on gems like these. 4.) Restore the original episodic versions of the Blood Gulch Chronicles: * Giving fans the option to watch either the original episodes or the remastered versions would help preserve the historical context of the show and better appeal to longtime viewers. 5.) Add Grifball-related content into its own dedicated channel: * The episodic versions of the Grifball series are completely currently missing from the platform and deserve their own dedicated channel, similar to PSAs or the Complete series. * The Season 11 PSA, Game Changer, which serves as the Grifball epilogue, should also be included in this collection. 6.) Expand parity with YouTube content: * Many videos exclusive to the various YouTube channels (such as QvsA) are missing from the site. Including these would unify the RvB viewing experience and ensure fans don’t have to jump between platforms to access the full scope of content in RvB's catalog. My love for RvB is unfathomable at times, and I'd just love to see the series be represented on the site as fully and accurately as possible. These adjustments would go a long way in making RvB more accessible for both new viewers and long-time fans, while also honoring its two-decade legacy. If you made it this far, thanks for reading!

Show Tab Feedback and Suggestions

I’d just like to start this off by saying that it’s been a fantastic experience being back on the site and testing things out! I’ve been poking my head around since Monday and messing around with every feature I can find, and so far everything has worked flawlessly on my end. I’m especially glad to see that forums are once again a major part of the site, something the old version was definitely lacking in. That said, I do have some major concerns about the way the Shows tab is currently structured. As far as I can tell, the entire library appears to be organized exactly as it was on the old site, so for all I know, this might just be a temporary placeholder for a more polished catalogue down the line. Still, one of the biggest issues I had with the previous site was how poorly the show catalogue was organized, and unfortunately, that same problem seems to have carried over here. The first thing I’d suggest is grouping each different series and franchise within the Shows tab into their own series channels so that related content can be organized together. Right now, having to scroll through the entire catalogue just to find a single series from The Know feels unnecessarily tedious. It would make much more sense to have The Know listed as a category or hub, with its various shows collected underneath it. That way, users could easily browse everything in one place rather than hunting through a long, unstructured list. Another improvement I’d recommend is organizing each show’s episode list in proper chronological order, rather than defaulting to the latest episodes first, as is currently the case with shows like the RTP, RTAA, and the RvB PSAs. This current setup makes it difficult for viewers who want to watch a series from the beginning, and at the very least, there should be an organization toggle on each show’s page, allowing users to switch between chronological order and most recent episodes. That kind of flexibility would go a long way in improving the overall user experience. I’d also suggest better integration of episodes from different shows that were released under different show channels onto their respective show pages. For example, the P.A.N.I.C.S. episode featured in Rooster Teeth Celebrates 20 Years of Making Fun, or the Drunk RvB episode found in RT Extras. These kinds of videos should also be included in the episode count, or at least listed under the bonus features section, on the main channel pages of their respective base shows. This change would greatly help in making it easier for fans to find all related content in one place. One final suggestion I’d like to offer is that the site should strive for complete, or at least near-complete, video parity with the YouTube channels. Right now, there are noticeable gaps in the catalogue. For instance, RvB is missing episodes from some of its miniseries, and even a smaller show like Nature Town somehow has episodes missing entirely from the site. Ensuring that every episode from every series is accounted for would go a long way toward making the platform feel comprehensive and reliable. Overall, I am really enjoying the site’s current direction and am excited to see where it continues to grow from here. These suggestions come from a place of genuine appreciation for everything Rooster Teeth and a desire to see the relaunch of this site be as polished and user-friendly as it can be. I’m also planning to write a separate post that dives specifically into the organization of RvB, there’s a lot to unpack there, and it deserves its own spotlight. Thanks for taking the time to read through this! Looking forward to seeing how the platform evolves and continuing to be part of the community.
