Howdy Y'all

Since the site is going back up, I wanted to light a small fire back in this group and see if it catches. I'm based out of Fort Worth, just curious if any active members wanted to start up another RTDFW? See ya soon. (Artist formally known as HeliDoc)

Likes Disappearing

I've noticed that some Forum Posts (specifically Burnie's latest update, "think before you delete" by Imperious118, and "Feature request: ability to search Community posts" by rezmanbrown" do not allow me to like the post. I can click the heart and it turns red, but if I refresh the page the heart turns clear again. Even after clicking the heart and turning it red, the cumulative total does not increase. Some posts this does work, and others it does not. I'm not sure what the difference is. It seems to work perfectly for all comments.

By the Community, for the Community

(Excuse the Username. I am in-fact not a funny artiodactyl mammal.. but I do now know what an Okapi is so I'll chalk that up to a victory) First of all: HUGE thanks for the RT Team and the Box Canyon Team for putting in the work and bringing back a place that was sorely missed. Try as I may, I'm finding very few technical issues with the site. Most comments seem to be about desired features or questions of the future, but very little about the technical uses of the site. Big win! I believe many of us have gotten use to the "Discord" way of joining specific channels that may interest us and filtering out ones that don't. I appreciate the almost Reddit way of Forum posts being purely based on traffic or chronology, but as the community explodes in size (as I'm sure it will soon) is there any hope for a "subscribe" feature to forums that we enjoy more than others? For example... if I'm particularly jived by a post in the RT Events Forum, could I perhaps "pin" that post on my personal feed and get notifications of developments? Food for thought.
