I haven't used the RT Site in years, really since the redesign. While I don't know what will happen to this post, or if anyone will see it, I feel it's only fitting for me to share my thoughts here, one last time. I've been on the site officially for 11 years, but I've been a fan for longer. RT and its community are what kept me going, for a long long time. I used to spend hours and hours keeping up with all of the content, back when there weren't 50 videos being uploaded a day. I'd listen to every podcast, watch every live stream, and keep up with all of the AH series. I'd request time off work to watch the 24-hour Extra Life streams. I traveled to Austin by myself to attend RTX 2014 with no connections to anyone there. I volunteered every summer after just to help make sure everyone else had as an amazing time as I did at every other RTX. I made life long friends, and I met the love of my life, all because of RT. I knew back when RT was everything to me that it was a special time to be savored. I just didn't want to think about when that would end. I don't consume content like I used to. I listen to F***Face and ANMA every week, I still go back and listen to old RT Podcast episodes, and I watch old AH and RT videos just to relive those moments when I'm feeling nostalgic. I was heartbroken to hear RTX wasn't returning, and I knew it was only a matter of time. It doesn't make this any easier, and my heart goes out to everyone at RT. I can't even imagine being in your shoes. I hope everyone lands on their feet stronger and better, and in a place where they can continue to shine and excel. Thank you for giving me a chance to be a Guardian 9 years ago, and continuing to bring me back. Thank you for the countless hours of laughter and joy and entertainment. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
