it's been a while since I have posted one of these. Oops. If anyone cares or reads this thing, it's been a busy year! I started and completed my internship at one of the local elementary schools in 3rd grade and it was a blast! Sure, it was tough and challenging (it's a Title I campus, so it's a bit rough) but I enjoyed the experience! I finally graduated from the University of Houston-Clear Lake (one of the top education programs in the state) with honors! I now hold a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies and am now certified to teach EC-6! Yay!

After graduating, I started a very brief job hunt as I interviewed at another local elementary school the day after graduation and received a job offer that Thursday! I will be teaching 3rd grade Math/Science next school year!

On top of this, I was able to accept a long-term sub job at the end of my internship. This job was for a 1st grade teacher who went on maternity leave; with all of the money I have made from this, I will be able to go to RTX!!! Score!! It wasn't looking good for a few months but now it's official!

Whew! Now that I've caught ya'll up (if anyone actually reads this), what has everyone been up to?
