Forza Horizon 3

The game came out a few weeks ago and I of course bought the 100$ edition again. Started it up and liked it because it is more of the same. Horizon has fallen into this niche type of open world racing game where you need to discover the lands and all the roads. I LOVE those games for the first 30 hours. After that they get meh and I want a new fix because I've discovered everything. With the previous Horizons I've spent at least 100 hours each. Horizon 1 I can't track but did get all the GS in it with the 2 expansion packs and Horizon 2 I have… Good god! 365 hours played to complete that game. That's finding all the roads, racing all the races and driving most of the cars. I've got some experience with the games.

The races are the same, circuit or point to point, and the cars are the same with some extras added in since the last Forza. It is really nice that the licenses they got for Forza Motorsport 5 carry over through the rest of the current series so we can keep driving the cars we like over and over or get the newer year model if it's updated in the game. A few of the big differences are that now you are the boss of Horizon. So you race what you want to race and even going for achievements you're not forced to do X number of races in S2 car or win X races in a stock Geo Metro. Just race whatever you want. Could do 80 tournaments of just Rally Cars and the game would be cool with that.

Another changeup is the PR stunts where you get points based on performance of drifting, speed traps, speed zones and stunt jumps. All self explanatory, speed trap is top speed at 1 point, speed zone is highest average speed usually through a turn, drift zone is Tokyo Drifting through some turns and stunt jump is where you jump as far as you can. It's nice to pick a good car and be at the top of your club leader board, gives you a realistic goal to beat. Moreso to beef up your ego as getting top score gets you first in the club and also 30th in the world. That was a cool one to realize.

Is good game. And if you start to play it long enough to unlock clubs then join the Achievement Huntr Car Club! Can't call it Hunter because for some reason that's a blocked word. No idea why, it just is. I've got 80 odd cars designed for the game so far and joining the club/being my friend you can see all the mess of creations I've created.
