The Ring is Found! - Episode 5

130 miles is very impressive for new backpackers. That kind of trip is usually requires a much higher level of experiences. I am the point man for a Search and Rescue team in the Davis Mountains and I have had to evac people that try less mileage trips. What was the longest trip y'all took before the trip? Usually for training for these trips you would want to do at least 3 shorter trips first so you know how your gear fits you.

It was a great journey to follow. One of a kind thing and something I really enjoyed watching. While I hope you guys do more stuff like this, there's no need to kill yourselves in the process like you almost did this time, haha! That said, thank you for the entertainment and know the effort is acknowledged, if not completely understood by a computer nerd like myself. :P

Now I know what to do for my gap year. Go to New Zealand and redo the entire trek of the hobbits

Would be amazing if they gave the ring to another group of 'hobbits' to have it buried again and continue the chain of getting rid of it and searching for it.
