@cklink00 While teeth and bones are very similar they are not, in fact, the same. For one thing bones are living tissue while teeth are not. For another the constitution of teeth and bones is different. Bones are made of collagen, a protein which forms a scaffolding structure which calcium phosphate then fills in, while teeth are made of four different substances: enamel (the hardest substance in the human body), dentin, cementum, and dental
pulp.As led with, bones are living tissue which contain, among other cells, osteoblasts and osteoclasts, one of which breaks down old bone and one of which creates new bone. In effect, bones can heal themselves when they are damaged. Conversely teeth are not living tissue and cannot heal themselves.
