i hate how hard it is to find these vlogs but i love them! i already tweeted you before, but this show is so important to me. i feel represented and i can't wait for the rest.
I think it is about time we allow women, people of color, and other people who aren't "normal" in the realm of media (cis white males) to be selfish when telling their stories. Keep being selfish Yssa. We need more people like you to continue to do so. It is the only way I, and others like who are stuck in small rural towns, will learn about your stories. So much love and respect for you and your amazing team 💖
Yey I saw Full Metal Panic!!! in the group of anime there. =]
I Love "Recorded by Arizal" it's Awesome and though it's early days yet, I can tell that it's going to be a huge success. Keep doing what you're doing, it's working =]
Excellent video, thanks for sharing, the tea kettle thing was a clever addition.
Also major fan of RWBY, its what got me to sign up for first & into 3D!
That "Write what you want to learn about" advice is brilliant.
Love you and all of what you do Yssa! Now that you've pushed one of your wishes into a reality,.. the door is open, and the world is yours. Keep doing what you do, the way you want to. The world I know is better because of it.
As a writer myself, I always find the "write what you know" quote a little off-putting. I mean, when you're writing fantasy or science fiction, it isn't really about what you know, it's about what you create. I like that quote, "write what you want to learn about." It's more open ended. We should make certain elements universal and relatable, so maybe that's where we take from what we know, but when we want to create, there's experimentation involved. There's trying and seeing what works.
Yssa, I've really enjoyed seeing you in RT content, and I'm hoping this will be a great opportunity for us to see more of who you are.
