bahaha; WHY; the shopping in real life was my fxcking favorite, even though it really should have been titled something more along the lines of 'Buying/Shopping/Finding [Music]" instead, I think--like, the broader concept of immediacy/ungrateful bxtching about package turnover time is definitely in there at the beginning; but, at the heart of the matter, it's REALLY the illegal downloading speech that fxcking hit the nail on the head, and drove it home for me--bahaha, seriously, is anyone else over here getting like some SERIOUS, major, MAJOR early 2000's KaZaa, LimeWire, (HELL, even vague) Napster flashbacks, right now?
Just, THAT WHOLE MENTALITY -of EVERY kid at the time, summed up and so accurate I can legit hear myself scoffing about how 'not a big deal it is' to my mom and (secretly being afraid of the possibility) as she retaliates with the handful of scattered 'examples' who got REEMED with helllaaa pirating fines. GOD, I swear, if old me could peer into the future and see Spotify, it would fxcking WEEP for the hours spent downloading, searching, and converting all manner of things into mp3s when I have playlists so long now that I can't even fxcking remember what's on them
