@marvelfandomonium The bit about Freelancer California is fan fic, not cannon.
However, from the first episode he's in, he shows signs of being smarter than both Church and Tucker. Church bullies him into doing stupid things.
Then later on, Church and Tucker admit they fix everything by rebooting. Including Caboose's armor, while he was still in it. Caboose said, "It was dark and I had to hold my breath for a really long time." That seems to be where he starts going downhill. And then various AI marching through his brain destroyed what was left.

How can we deal with the sun? I suggest shooting it in the face with a shotgun. I think Sarge would approve of that.
@BRB93 You have to get pretty close to your target for shotgun to the face to be effective. I don't think any of us melanin-deficient types want to get any closer to the Evil Day Star than we have to.
@scotchfairy How about we make a giant MAC cannon and fill it with buckshot? Then we can safely fire it from Earth or Space and not have to worry about getting burnt to a crisp!
Is it just me, or has Sarge taken a liking to Caboose? I guess he feels he's the least objectionable of the Blues.

@BNuts throughout the series Sarge and Caboose have always been somewhat cool with each other (for the most part). It's a weird mix, but it works so well.
things I know about Caboose
1. He super strong (duh)
2. He understands at least some Spanish
3.He graduated from Harvard at some point
4. He can only drive a stick for some reason
