@Sasquatchie That was the remake. The original movie of "Kimba the White Lion" (aka "Jungle Emperor") came out in 1966; 30 years before the Lion King.

@fake_account_to_disable_autoplay Also Incorrect my dude. The Manga and Anime came out earlier but they were about a White Lion in a Jungle, he had adventures and stuff. Then the Lion King, then the Anime ripped off Lion King and made their own version with the same characters.

While Disney never admitted it and the owners of Jungle Emperor said outright that they couldn't afford to fight Disney in court... it's pretty obvious after watching both that Lion King was at the VERY least highly influenced by Jungle Emporer, if not outright stealing from it
