For some of the crap people talked on the subreddit this really isn't all that bad. I'm enjoying it so far and really looking forward to the subjects this podcast will be able to focus on. Also seeing a very different crew handling this is exciting.
Really love the concept of the show and excited to se where it'll end up going. And I agree with FrozenRage that seeing different cast and crew members is nice
It's the first podcast they've done in this format. I can clearly see that JJ and Joey are trying something much different than the other two podcasts, and between the five that were in this Podcast, they have very little experience with the other two podcasts, with Chris probably having the most (but he almost never talks in those) and Meg probably being a bit more intimidated being on a Podcast with the Likes of Burnie or Gus. These guys, although part of the now bigger than it used to be brand of Rooster Teeth, are new to it, so a comment like that would be more appropriate if they hadn't gotten better at it in future podcasts, which we don't know yet, because like I said, episode 1.
Only 15 minutes in, but it's great so far! Glad to see some more of the roosterteeth crew getting some screentime. Looking forward to see what this becomes as they get more comfortable with it. Good Luck!
I laughed, I cried, I laughed some more... I loved it! I'm starting Confessions of a Dangerous Mind as I type this, and I can't wait for next week's episode!! It's really nice to see some faces we don't see very often in videos! Also, I feel like you guys may have stolen the contents of the entertainment center in my parents' house as Joey's background. I should probably check to see if they're missing 200 VHS tapes...
Loving the new podcast. Maybe the Movie Book Club will get me to finally start watching older movies. There were some issues with talking over each other, but if you listen to the first few Drunk Tanks, it was like that back then, too. At least they didn't have the long silences like some of the older podcasts did. Also, this is the first RT podcast not hosted by Gus, but JJ is doing a pretty good job so far. Keep up the great work, guys!
With the whole Hercules thing brought up at the beginning, I think the fact that the actual movie was nothing like the trailer helped it a great deal. It was definitely a movie that didn't take itself too seriously, and walking into the theater not expecting what I saw really improved on my experience.
