They make the change on July FIRST!
July is the 7th month of the year, they just released the show Day 5.
Take the 5 away from 7 to make 2.
if you add FIRST to the 2 you get 3.

Glad they explained it so well, but did it really need to be 4 mins? Not really complaining just making a statement.

I am not concerned with the program title itself. I feel like a lot of us enjoyed having the label "sponsors", such as in the RT subreddit, posts were titled "For sponsors..." That was actually one of the aspects I enjoyed most because it made me feel like I was supporting RT more than just being a pro/plus/first/super/etc. member. As for me, I enjoyed being a sponsor more than I enjoy being a First Member. Although it is literally just a title and will not change anything that really matters in the big picture, being called a sponsor is a much better representation of how much RT appreciates us.
Nonetheless, nothing is changing but the name, and I honestly think the sponsor name will stick on places like Reddit since it is not only a long lived name, but it is just easier to type and distinguish.

I will continue to support RT of course and will still appreciate the sponsor content they produce.
