Inviting Achievement Hunter members over for games is so much fun. They're better at the games than us, give us no chance of winning and really make us question our future as streamers. Love those scamps.
Jon I totally agree with you on Alice in Borderlands season 2, there's 1.5 episodes where the cool guy plays a game that I was super into but I really miss the action of the first season.
I am not going to call Jon a fake gamer boy…but I am gonna call Jon a fake GAYMER boy for his Bioware takes. Because those cut scenes and stories were just deeply beautiful and touching queer gamer boy fulfillment. And I just can’t imagine having reignited my love or gaming without it. Like between the first first God of War and Fallout 3 I wasn’t really gaming (I was replaying my NES and stuff while drinking with friends), but that game led me into getting a recommendation for Dragon Age: Origins from a guy I went on one date with, which I guess was so bad that he ghosted me even though he had loaned me his (pretty new and expensive) copy of DA:O. And then I went back into Elder Scrolls, Fable, Bioshock…so yeah. I have all these queer couples and ships and families, but getting those cut scenes between my hero and Zevran was life-changing. And I love all the role-playing, which goes me max replayability.
Don’t like dating sims, though. I guess that is too far in the other direction.
What I've learned is that Jon and I's taste in video games could NOT be more different bc I fucking love story and dialogue heavy games like Bioware's.
