Hi
Burnie having some ID:10-T issues.:)
Watching this made me feel a lot better about deciding to hold off on getting a switch, way to many basic design flaws in the current design for me to have trust in the product.
Such as?
i agree, the pure fact that it's only 32 Gigs and not close to 500 make me not want to buy it. SD cards are bad, download speed on them suck and are prone to data corrugation.
- all these people having to listen as nintendo snaps at them for the life of console seem a bit too pavlovian. hopefully you can turn that off i'd hate to have to turn down the volume every time.
- that terrible kick stand. (love the idea shoddy craftsmanship)
- the wildcat like "Pro" controller for $70 that's not on par at all with xbox/ps.
- the fact that Burnie almost bricked a $50 joy con by their own design flaw.
- the fact a new "console" coming out in 2017 with a tablet is 720p when the standard is 1080p
- 32gb 29gb storage.
- wasteful physical game boxes 1000x larger than they should be.
- that fact that if you wanted a second matching joy con controller it would cost over $110
- no pack in game? not even the 1 2 games? most reviews i've watched said totally worth it as a pack in but not as a buy (Tim from Kinda Funny)
- $300 price
- only 5 first-party launch titles is pretty paltry, with only one stand-out title.
- no internet access (not even on the restrive xbox web browser level, nothing)
- no in game voice chat (come on people we've had this since the original xbox.)
- a free rental of a retro title per month? to compete with ps plus and game with gold LOL
- the "Charging Grip" is sold separately the in box one is just a grip why leave out the usb? to add an extra $30 to the total price.
- 2.5 to 6.5 hours of battery life, which is inarguably short for a portable console.
- total cost plus tax $688.47. that's with only one game, an extra controller with charger, and replacement charger for the included joy controller oh and $16 for those wrist straps that are not included with the $80 joy cons sold separately. and a 200gb replacement sd card to start.
Well just as one example, with the little slides that go on a single controller that got stuck, if the people designing this platform cant even foresee such a simple thing to accidentally do, it kinda has to make you think "If they can forget something as simple as a one way slider, what else could they have forgotten?" You look at the older console games like Xbox and PlayStation and you don't exactly really see such simple design flaws, you cant attach the Xbox controllers battery pack in such a way that it gets stuck or gets broken.
I've already seen battery packs by third parties that have a potentially better stand on them at a Walmart.
Goddamnit Burnie!
Finally region free huh? Too bad my 3DS isn't. I live in Japan and my American 3DS is worthless here.
Leave it to Bunrie to somehow get the technical difficulty message in a Know video.
cool demonstration. The right-hand thumb stick seems awkwardly placed, but I don't really see a good way around that due to the whole detachable controller thing. Regardless, I'm just gonna get a pro controller for it anyways.
yeah I'm probably not goning to get it
man hope you can turn off all the finger snaps. for some reason that shit drives me up the wall. otherwise i'd be like Dennis with that buzzer on family fight haha
Screen shot button, not an "Amiibo button"
