So I haven't owned a handheld console since Game Boy Color (in lime green of course) way back when and I'm looking at the 3DS XL.

I was wondering what people thought of the recently put out "NEW" 3DS XL vs. the older one. I'm not crazy about only black or red being the options for console color (petty, I know), but the 3D effects look way better from the vids/reviews I've seen on the newer one.

Any thoughts or recommendations?
