Where people who live in the same country come to hate each other.
What the title says. Also, hobbie.
Hello my name is Larry Marquez and I'm sharing a story how YouTube continues to fail in preventing pedophiles from exploiting their video algorithms and to communicate with one other through known loopholes of their system. This video below will go over all the information. I originally found out about this video from the Daily Wire news site. " YouTube is facilitating the sexual exploitation of children and it's being monetized (2019)" >https://youtu.be/O13G5A5w5P0
So it's results day and I want to know what people think AND how they did. So I didn't do well as I failed half of them and so that was countless hours down the drain. But what do you think about education.
Thoughts on use of colloquial names (typically considered for specific genders) for gender neutral practice? ie. Dude = referring to any person you are speaking to directly. (This is my specific example.) You are all welcome to post your personal quirks and standings on this topic to your discretion. Play nice....
The political sphere has changed numerous times since the conception of the democracy that once was. When this change occurs, we in the political science field call it a "Realigning Election." Instances like so can change the aspect of the american life for years to come. For example, in the 19th century we see the rise of the Republican party and then during reconstruction era a complete overhaul of two major parties stemming from the 1860 election. Whether that's good or bad change is subjective. In the recent 2016 election, when polarity between parties is at its all time high, I think that we are in the middle of one of those shifts. With both parties having the "with us or against us" mentality, the idea of pragmatism no longer exist. The loss for Hilary Clinton has seemed to fracture the Democratic party. With this being said, I think that this shift is going to cause a rebirth of a democratic party that lies heavily with the neo-liberalism ideology. With the state of the current political sphere, Where do you see the future of American Politics going? Could our two-party system ever come back from this polarity differential?
I'd like to hear people's visions of the future from all sides of the political spectrum. If you can spare a moment, please provide a reply. Where do you hope this country, or even the world goes? How far out do you envision? 1 year? 10? 100? Do you see your political leader(s) going in your direction? Where do you think they want to go? What do you think the vision of the future was / is for who you supported in the last election? After you note this, please note your political standing - I suspect we will have a lot more in common than we think.
Maybe Barbara knows some places? I think Toronto is safe space & social justice(y).
Hello to all!! Well, mygirlfriend and I are currently planning visit again Detroit and I was hoping to get some feedback from those who live there. I'm planning a surprise, she is a photographer, and this trip we want to make some good pictures of us. We are making a hole list of beautiful points that we can visit so he can get good shots, kinda trying to save money, because we suppose to be there from Wendesday to Sunday. I want to visit Chicago too, for the Black Diamond and convince her to give us another day. I have been thinking in places like Belle Isle Park, Fisher Building and Campus Martius Park. Is there anything we should be on the lookout for when we go in for a tour? Also, I don't want to pay the high rates at airport parking. A friend told me about this parking spot close to the airport to leave my car and someone take us to the airport, are those rates fear over there? Or, do you know other option? Thanks in advance for any feedback!
I'm Scottish and rather dispassionate and neutral about this whole issue. Please feel free to share any and all opinions.

Who else is watching the Dem Debate? I think O'Malley is strong but I FEEL THE BERN!!
Can private property owners deny folks constitutional rights? Do you have constitutional rights (like 1st, 2nd, 14th etc) on Starbucks and ChicFiLa private property? Can a restaurant post a ~ NO GUNS OR TURBANS ~ sign? If they change the sign to ~ NO GUNS OR HATS ~ is it ok then, cause it dont single out Turbans? Sure the 1st and 2nd amendment clearly affirm the peoples rights to bear arms and bear religious turbans, but we see a large segment of the population declaring it OK to deny folks their rights if its on Starbucks PRIVATE property. If Starbucks can deny 2nd amd Gun Rights in its private property restaurants, cant ChikFiLa deny 1st amd Turban Rights in its private property restaurants as well? Some people fear guns, and some people fear turbans. We see folks say its ok for Starbucks to deny rights to a stereotype because of their fear. Just now we see a Kansas City Olive Garden KICK OUT AN ON-DUTY UNIFORMED POLICE OFFICER because of their fear of guns policy. (Certainly it was over gun fear, it couldnt be a hate crime discrimination against all cops over the past crimes of a few cops... that would be no different than denying service to all Blacks over the past crimes of a few Blacks... and OliveGarden certainly wouldnt be hate crime discriminating any groups ) Is it ok to allow gun & hat folks onto Starbucks and ChicFiLa property but only after they lock up their guns and hats in their car ... denying them their 1st & 2nd amd rights to guns and religious turbans? or do Starbucks and ChicFiLa etc have to respect 1st 2nd 14th rights of people on their property? Do our constitutional amd Turban / Gun / Skintone Rights end at someones property line if they choose to fear our gun / turban/ skintone due to crimes by others with our gun/hat/skin?

Who will you guys be voting for this October and why? What issues are important for you? Also, do you think Harper should be voted out? I think I will be voting for NDP just because, they were the only party that voted against C-51
I really don't want this to turn into a another back and forth about the right and wrong about this case. I want to see what other people think about some of the unique backlash that has been coming from this situation. Recent reports coming from Baltimore have been putting a rise in murder rate and crimes in general in the city over the last month. Local residents are citing the lack of a police presence to enforce law and keep crime down. While the police maintain that they are still policing the 'bad' areas of town as they were before. There has been a drop in arrest rates during this period that correlates with the rise in the crime rate. There is a lot going on here on both sides of the board, civilian and law enforcement, that are contributing. Routine police stops are drawing large crowds of individuals that gather at the scene and in some cases interact with the situation. Police are also trying to figure out the protection they have under the law of doing their job and showing up to a bad situation. Are they protected? Are they culpable? I'm not wanting to discuss what happened. I want to see what people think will happen.
So read this. It's a sentiment I agree with. The Tea Party/Evangelican alliance isn't sustainable, and it isn't good policy. Hell, it's ruined the basis for the entire party. I'd want to see numbers for some of those proposals, but I'm not overwhelmingly against any of it.
Where do you land? www.politicalcompass.org/test I have never really considered myself that far left as I have many conservative views as well. I don't want too many restrictions on guns because I like to shoot, but I think being nonreligious is what dragged me out of the right.
So as of recently I've found myself falling in love with Last Week Tonight and the likes. And since I have a different view on things than most my family I'm usually getting into facebook fights with them. So as a method of improving my writing, resaerching and beefing up my portfolio (I LYKE 2 RITE) I have decided that every monday I will pick a subject/issue to research and write about for a time limit of 12 hours. And heres the one problem I have, no one reads it. So please stop on by and give it a read. Friend me if you'd like. Here's the most recent one: roosterteeth.com/members/journal/entry.php?id=... Thanks everyone!
So as some of you may or may not know. There is this YouTuber whom is angry (pun intended) with Nintendo's policies on copyright. Long story short he posted a video of Nintendo gameplay and they took it down. I know shocker right. I would just like to see others opinions. That's it! Below Is just my personal thought process when hearing and reading about it. Thoughts on the issue ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Is this any different than record labels taking down lyric videos on YouTube? The issue itself looks pretty identical. The people are putting up the videos to spread word of the song and or band they posted and claim revenue off of the work they put into the making of the video. If the above is a similar situation then why is no one rioting outside record labels? Maybe its just a general and commonly accepted thing that happens on YouTube. Is this a publicity stunt by Joe to gain views? These videos seem to be some of the most highly viewed on his channel. Did he genuinely not know if Nintendo's policies even after having this happen to him before? This is unlikely since it is a well known fact, but could still possibly be true. Is Nintendo just waiting for people to make videos to claim them? Although this would make up such a small percentile of their revenue, it is still income. Does Nintendo have zero tolerance as a means to distinguish the line between what is copyright. With everything using their intellectual property being copyright there is no "grey area" and the standards are in black and white for all to know. Legally who is in the right? Nintendo of course is in the right with it being legally their intellectual property that is being used as a means to gain profit. Ethically who is in the right? I have only seen a couple of Joe's videos and it seems like the guy needs to eat like the rest of us and this is his job. Why do other companies (Microsoft and Sony) not have this policy? From a business standpoint it's ill advised to let other people use your companies property without restricting it. Although, it is advertizing the game itself, which could bring in potential buyers. Conversely, some will be content with just watching others play the game and therefore would have no reason to buy the game or the console. This ,however unlikely, could be an issue. I could go on and on, but man is this whole issue just a clusterfuck or what. Sounds like good old politics to me! Also below is a poll to see what side the users here on RT lean towards.
TLDR: Indiana governor signs bill into law making discrimination based on sexual orientation legal for "religious reasons." This pisses me off so fucking much, for many many reasons. Seriously, it's 20 fucking 15. Why is this shit still happening? www.cnn.com/2015/03/25/politics/mike-penc...
