Hell everyone again, just built my new computer, and its awesome and loving it, million times faster than what ive head to deal with past few years.

Anyway, it runs perfectly well except for when i boot it up, after it loads the desktop, if i leave it and dont start a program, the screen just randomly goes off and cant turn it on again, and i must restart. But, if i start using the comp straight away and run programs, no such thing ever happens, and even if i leave the comp after using it, it doesnt turn the screen off, just goes to screen saver as per usual.

I dunno about you's, but this seems like a pretty weird problem to me. i presume its something to do with the graphics driver, so i tried reinstalling that an all but it did nuthing.

Comp specs:
GA-X38-DQ6
Core 2 Duo E6850
2GB Kingston DDR2 - 667Mhz
ATI X600 - Conected wia DVI
Vista Ultimate

If anyones got any ideas on a solution? cause as i said, its a minor one, but it can be a pain if you turn the comp on then go away for a sec.

Also, one other thing, vista for some reason wont recognise my dvd rw dl drive as a burner, only as a read device, but alcohol 120% can burn fine, whats up with that?

Any help is appreciated, i know to come here for technical help, your advice has always been great.
