G'day everyone, Got a new problem thats come out of nowhere with my media center on vista ultimate. It has worked absolutely perfect since ive got it, but suddenly (since presumably an update to my ati graphics drivers via microsoft update) it is now being rather annoying when trying to watch tv. out of full screen it has decided to only show 1 frame every number of seconds or so, and while in full screen, if i move to mouse to bring the play settings menu it runs as it should, but after that menu fades out, it plays smoothly, but adds in about 5 frames a second an overlay image of where the menu faded. so i get this rather annoying flash of a previous frame in the tv program a couple of times every second, also quite annoying. Though the sound is playing uninterrupted through all this.

Naturally ive tried completely uninstalling drivers and catalyst, then reinstalling previous drivers which ive had no issue with, but no joy, no matter what it keep this up.

Not sure where else to begin to look, so asking if u guys might have any ideas to test around with.

2GB kingston 667mhz (yes i know im gonna upgrade to 8gb corsair 1066mhz and not cross combine brands and frequencies)
