Achievement Hunter
Been watching since RvB since 2004, Only joined the site January 2006, been watching some form of RT on here ever since, Thanks to everyone who has created content for us all to enjoy, heart pains for the bad and the sad times, and cheers for the great and the fun ones. Thank you all who worked hard to bring us a little joy and entertainment, and everyone who was involved in keeping the shows running not only for the fans, but for the creative people they got to work with every day. I wish everyone involved the best in their future endeavours.

Red vs Blue
I don't post here often, so thanks to those who take the time to read this. The new Halo series has sent me on a Halo binge, I am really enjoying it so far and think the series is doing a great job of creating content for those who aren't familiar with the lore whilst still dropping in enough Easter eggs and history, I know the series has been receiving some flack from the changes to the established canon, but it would have been very difficult for them to produce something new for T.V. whilst not rehashing everything long term fans have already seen and making it accessible to those new to Halo. So I'm giving it a chance and thinking it has found the right balance to tell it's own story. Anyway off the back of that binge I found the new RvB content that has been recently released. The Episode recaps, recovery one etc. Fab content and I look forwards to seeing more. I also saw the post SeanHinz made in March, I wish I had seen this sooner, but I missed it at the time. It's a great post and has me excited about the future of the RvB franchise and the upcoming 20th Anniversary. Keep up the good work and I look forwards to seeing what is ahead :D

Red vs Blue
Whilst no one may read this, I just got back here having re-watched the entirety of Red vs. Blue again because Rooster Teeth released the first few series as "complete". I can see the outpouring of support from the community rewatching those series. I have to say well done to everyone involved in bringing Red vs. Blue to the audience all these years. Have loved re-watching 1-17. I've started re-watching RvB Zero as well, this show is very differrent and I like the action and the animation but it feels like a very seperate entity though. Even with cameo's from the characters we've grown to love over the years. I think when I watched this the first time I didn't give it much of a chance, because it doesn't feel like Red vs. Blue (to me) and re-watcing now I am enjoying it, but I still feel it could have benefitted from a larger variance in branding from RvB, but maybe that was my misunderstanding and expectations, and not shared by the rest of the community. I wish everyone making this show true success, and whilst i'm confident it has a loyal following and I enjoy parts of it, I still find it very hard to get into and really wish it was running concurrently with a series following the development of the original RvB characters, I would like to see more of their stories, even after many went their seperate ways at the end of 17, which may well have been the natural end to their story and if so, i guess what i'm saying is thanks for journey.

A brief history

I suck at updating social media like this right now, but feel it's really about time I did considering, so where to start? Back in the day, when i was just a young Halo obsessed fan boy doing the occasional pantomime and play to stop me spending ALL my life in-front of my Xbox or at school I discovered this little web machinima series a group of guys were making.
It was called Red vs Blue and I repeatedly laughed my head off watching episodes 1-12 over and over (all that were released at the time). I thought "Wow", then... "I have a Media PC", and from there, "surely I can record something like this", SO I used the appropriate composite cables and hooked my old Xbox (without any numbers tacked onto the end back then) into my pc's input slots, ran the television recording software that came with the PC and pushed in Turok, one of the few games I owned at the time and recorded a test. This included the loading screen and start up video, a video where some form of axe brains a dino guy and then after that I even managed a few minutes of game play.

This was when I realized with the voice overs and single player "follow this direct route - one track" levels there was little I could do bar changing the voices for the same/similar story, I thought Wow that's going to limit me and then loaded up halo to see how multiplayer worked with recording, the possibilities it opened up where massive compared to most other games of the time, I can see why RT used it and why it generated a machinima wave at the time.

I dabbled occasionally from then on recording little snippets just for myself and my brother having fun, but alas eventually I even stopped doing that.

I did keep up the acting though, and currently perform in about 3 plays a year here in the U.K.
.... A few amateur musicals and murder mystery nights as well.... and the occasional extra work for Television, including the highlight so far where I got to meet Michael Palin and Mark Addy.

Anyway I'm hoping I still have years of progress, choices and chances ahead of me. In the meantime though I still enjoy logging into Rooster Teeth to watch some achievement hunter and Red vs Blue in my spare time... when I have it. smiley0.gif

A post before it ends.

Yes i have been a member for oh so long, yet i have never posted anything meaningful here. -It just never seemed the right time. Well now seems as good a time as any, while waiting for episode 99 of Red Vs Blue. I not only feel that it is the right time to post though. I also feel that it is the right time to say thankyou. Thankyou to All the lovingly kind people at Rooster Teeth. Thankyou for all that precious time you have put in over the years. Thankyou for the good guys and the bad guys, the red guys and the blue guys, the aliens and the robots. Yes thankyou Rooster teeth and even if nobody ever reads this, which is just a shame.
I have still said Thankyou.
So goodbye RvB we always liked you the most.
