Armchair Game Makers: The Dark Crystal

I would want it to be a 3rd person RPG and for the character animations they should motion capture the puppets to capture the feeling of you being a puppet. Character animation, I think, is the key. Like South Park's Stick of Truth you have to feel like you are inside the source material which Stick of Truth nailed except for the fighting mechanics which pull you away a bit too much (IMO). The same approach should be taken for Dark Crystal because the feeling that your character IS a puppet is as important as being a 2d cut-out. Combat would be the difficult part to do well. The scenery is sort of the easy bit because of the amount of reference material and the story options are endless, so I'll end my opinion here. Have a nice day! :-)

I am not a huge gamer but oh I would absolutely love to play a good Dark Crystal game. The Netflix series is amazing! I was so impressed by the world they built from the story to the landscapes and creatures. I highly recommend watching the “making of” documentary - it is really cool to see it all come to life.
