Wouldn't it be quest completed, since McCormick would've given the code if you killed his neighbor(like the NC Challenge)? If it were failed, it would've been when Gav shot the barkeep.
The quest was to kill McCormick not get the vault code. Gavin and Michael needed it either way but they failed Coe's quest.
this was the funniest immersion i have watched (the entire 2 parts) i would have loved to be apart of this haha
