I love how in Gavin's mind standing up is what makes him an above average passenger and not just a normal person.
its not that, its that he doesn't make a fuss or waste anyones time
@PureMatty, I honestly have no idea what you're talking about. He had the aisle seat so it was expected that at some point he'd have to stand up to let the other person out. Even doing that multiple times is hardly worth making a fuss about nor could it waste much more time than a single minute.
Also, the fact that he's bitching about it now, clearly he is making a fuss just not at the time. Not really sure that's better.
watch the podcast maybe before you comment on half a story and don't even know what your talking about let alone what i'm talking about
I'm commenting on the video they made and the context therein. If there were salient details important to the story and/or characters, then Jordan should've included that. That's like saying, "You have to read the book to get the movie." If it was important to the plot of the movie, then they should've included it from the book in the movie.
Anyway, I just watched the podcast. While the screen thing on the third flight is annoying, it's hardly fuss worthy either in what happened or solving it. It's just that Gavin fears talking to strangers, but to any normal person, that problem is solved in a few seconds by going, "Excuse me, can you please move your hands." However, nothing that was in either the podcast or AA could be misconstrued as time wasting.
In short, now that I know what you're talking about, it still doesn't make sense and especially doesn't when applied to only this AA video.

I was on a flight once where I wanted to get my book from my bag in the luggage bit because they said we couldn't have our bags under our seats, but the guy in the aisle seat was asleep so I just looked out the window for four hours not wanting to wake him up ^^'
Seriously that german dude sounds like the worst passenger in the world. Spilling on to gavin is already aggravating and then lastly he just asks to use his phone. Sounds horrid. the phone part is already bad but the fact he is spilling onto gavin just makes it absolutely worse.
To be completely fair some of those airplane seats are narrower than my shoulders so it's kinda hard to not spill into the next seat. Maybe my shoulders are just too wide.
yeah no me and that girl would have words If she sat next to me and wanted me to get up because A) people are still filing in and I don't want to block them and B) I'm petrified of flying and if I have to get on a plane my nails are basically in the arm rests til the flight is over.
A German who wanted to take something that didn't belong to them...shocker.
