I wanna watch this now x3 yknow... before my class at 11 am tomorow ;~;
Funny how the apple pay machine has the real apple logo while Burnie's Iphone has the traditional RTAA banana logo.
The finger print is equivalent to signing the back of your credit card, not signing the recipt!
apple pay-n in the butt, its another sponser only video... Getting tired of this. Thats the subject i have been dying to hear burnie speak about but its sponser only meaning i will never see it and it only makes me want to NEVER pay these people to be a sponser. They are taking the best videos that millions are wanting to see and making it for sponsers only in hopes of maybe, just maybe getting more money. I understand the need for it but not on RTAA the thing millions of people watch and enjoy daily. Im also against the selective ones they might be picking. What others will i never see? Who knows because its definitly not me
sponsors just get early access. you can watch this tomorrow. sponsors should have premium stuff we pay for it
you know that all of these are released to the public like a day later, right?
It says it was uploaded four days ago but it only appeared on the website a couple hours ago. It's done that with the last few uploads and they can now be viewed by everyone and they were previously sponsor only. Trust me dude, you can watch it tomorrow. Calm your tits.
Except there is an upload schedule, which tells when stuff is uploaded on to the website. Those times and dates are for the public. Sponsors can view those videos a day before each of those dates.
Look, go mow some lawns, head to walmart, get yourself a Bluebird card or something, load your 25 bucks from cutting that old lady's grass on it, and become a fucking sponsor and support the people who make the videos that obviously mean enough to you to cause you to rant on the comments before you can even watch them. Then you can watch them like we are, right now, enjoying the goods and soiling them long before your grubby fingers can touch them.
Burnie should consider himself lucky...my cousin had the same thing happen (not the Apple Pay part though) and when he went back, his purchased items were gone...
I think you're slightly confused is all. With their normal content, unless the video is sponsored by a separate entity, most of the time, there is a release time that the video will be made public, and sponsors can watch that same content 24 hours in advance. Anytime before then, the video can be uploaded to the site, showing a placeholder in their schedule and denoting the upload time much earlier than the release time, but not viewable till they really want anyone to see it. They could upload something a week before they plan to release it if they really wanted to, but they don't do that so often. Most likely, they uploaded it a bit earlier than usual because of the thanksgiving weekend. If you do click on a video that is unwatchable, it should tell you an approximate time, in days or hours, depending on how soon it is being released. I feel its best to upload something at least a day before sponsors can see it, so that sponsors and the public alike can see what it is, and plan to watch it whenever it does come out. But everyones preference for being able to see when something is uploaded and when it will be watchable is different I guess. There might have been a countdown on the last site, and there still could be one later on this one, but until they do add it, it should just be assumed that since its a new site, they're going to try different things till then.
You consume free entertainment, I pay to consume it early. It was not live Friday and you are just a sad troll.
Nah, at this point you're either a kid or a troll. I understand the mistake you made originally, but now you've flooded this whole page of comments with 4 of pretty much the same comment bitching about it.
Again, I get it, you made a mistake, shit happens. But: a) don't overreact; b) don't spam.
Plus, it's always been clear that Sponsor Only content is explicitly labeled "Sponsor Only" and that Sponsors get to see all non-sponsored content (ironically, IMO) 24 hours before non-Sponsors. Most content is also uploaded beforehand and will appear on the site upwards of 5 days ahead of Sponsor release. Just because it's on the site doesn't mean it's watchable. They do this so that they can make it watchable with the click of a button, rather than having to hope that it uploads in time for its scheduled release. It's like sending in a tape to AFV in the 90's; you send it in beforehand, then they put it up, you don't just send it in and it's immediately on the TV. I would excuse this if you were new, but it doesn't sound like you are.
You're not the only one with site problems, believe me. They did remove the timer they used to have that counted down to when you could see the video, but the notification system also needs some work. Some people like it as it is now where you're notified when a video is uploaded (but not viewable), but that just annoys me. I want to be notified when I can actually watch something. There's a schedule on the sidebar that says when content becomes available, but I don't like having to look at that to see when I'll be able to watch something. The notifications should be doing that, IMO. There's been times when I received notifications for shows (and specifically RTAA does this) a full week before I could even watch it, and other times (mostly Let's Plays) I get no notification at all. I feel like that shouldn't be happening, and something should be done about it.
You did two things wrong to start all of this:
1: You got angry.
No one is going to listen to you, even if you make a good point, when you're screaming in their ear.
2: You think you deserve free stuff.
Do you get angry whenever you see that the new Ferrari is only available to people who can afford it? Not everything in this world can be free, and you should actually want to support the people who make content for you. It's not a problem, if you're so passionate, to buy a sponsorship. They're very cheap, you get the first month free, and there are work-arounds to pay for it no matter what online purchasing method is available to you at the moment. You just need to give it some thought.
In conclusion, you don't deserve sponsor content. You need to pay for it, like any other purchased good. And if you're upset about something, address it in a much better manner. At least then people will respect you in turn and either help you understand, or kindly tell you to keep your hole shut.
holy hell what did I stumble upon this comment section looks like the trenches of WWI. Any way funny video
*sigh*
If you're trying to understand the site, then losing your shit about it is not the way to go. Ask a question, don't jump on the comments and immediately start assuming. And in case you forgot, here's your ORIGINAL COMMENT: "apple pay-n in the butt, its another sponser only video... Getting tired of this.
