Are you kidding me?!? Yeah, maybe next year's E3. I'm sorry, Ashley, but thinking that it'll take a studio 3 months to understand Sony's new VR hardware, come up with a VR game, have Sony be interested enough in the VR game to put it in their E3 presentation, and have a game demo/video of the title ready for E3 is nothing short of insane. Sorry, but that's like saying, "Okay, yesterday I showed you a quick introduction to calculus. Tomorrow I want a 20-page dissertation fully explaining every formula used in all of calculus."

If there are VR games at Sony's GDC presentation it's because developers have been working with some version of the VR hardware months prior to the GDC announcement. Similarly to how studios get "working versions" of new consoles long before the retail versions are ready or announced so there are games ready at launch. However, her statement doesn't imply that and instead suggests that studios would see the announcement at GDC, get started with the VR tech after GDC, and then have a demo ready by GDC, which is just ignorant.

VR is a gimmick just like 3D. And very exciting news about the new Tony Hawk game!
