So hostile mobs won't despawn if they're spawned from eggs that have been named in an anvil, but each egg named is 1 level. For that fire geyser it might be possible to re-pressurize it by having a sticky piston push and pull the block next to it. Assuming moving the block next to it is what triggers it. Also the sand house in STF area. That was Alfredo (AH) just wandering off during an episode and placing a bunch of sand in that house and leaving, saying nothing.
