The format change really helped this show out. I've enjoyed every episode since.
I enjoy the format change, in the sense that Sally and Gus are on the same set. I very much dislike that Chris is a part of the show now. Not only does he rarely have anything meaningful to add to the discussion, but it's just downright mean to position him as the less intelligent cast member to somehow give a sense of "relatability" to the audience.
So a Meerkats right of passage is to kill and eat scorpions? That's pretty badass
I didn't realize meerkats were so cool.
I think it would be cool if you guys did a similar show to this (or the same one) but change up the subject matter. Like season 1 is science with Sally, season 2 is political science, season 3 is criminal justice, season 4 is...So on and so forth.
Now that'd let the loonies out of the bin... Unfortunately to a large minority there aren't really political science "facts" anymore, because having expertise is seen as taking a side in and of itself.
Much safer to stick with mundane and clear-cut questions that allow Chris to be funny and Sally to be informative.
This is a cool idea - I guess Rooster Teeth needs more expert friends to use on shows! :)
I don't know why, but this is the only show where I notice how quiet the studio is. Not sure if some BG music would help or be distracting.
Sally's gripe about the cost difference of rats and mice makes me wonder how many animals her lab kills in a year.

I don't know if they filmed them all on the same day or Chris just always wears the same shirt.. Gus and Sally change shirts from time to time, but Chris is ALWAYS wearing that shirt..

Lol it made me think of other mammals mama birden, like if horses did that it would look horrendous.
A ladybug went in my mouth once while I was eating a snack in a ladybug infested shack. It took me 15 years to like that brand of snacks again because of how much the ladybug traumatized me.
