Ellie, look up Max Fleischer. He was the true king in the golden age of animation; his imagery was dark as hell and aimed at an older audience.

they're playing on switch? a cord wouldn't fix the control issues. Joy cons are just made like trash and after a year or so of use they just start to drift. its a know issue but Nintendo doesn't fix it. Gotta shell out $100 for the pro controller if you want a controller that works!!!!

@derbear54 I've had my switch since launch and have never had an issue with the joycons aside from the fact that they no longer lock into the switch in handheld mode, they tend to slide out a bit with minor force. other than that, they've worked perfectly.

@derbear54 my right jocon lasted 12 hours of zelda then started drifting. this was first game and brand new switch. replacements lasted hundreds of hours.

The main problem with games that are very hard is that you can't get your money back for something you can't play. If you pay for something you should get to fully use it, and if you can't you should be able to get your money back. It is also really annoying when people get mad that someone wants an easy mode, it doesn't affect them but they get all pissy anyway. And for anyone who says the developer can do whatever they want, think of Mass Effect 3, people didn't like the last five minutes but demanded that they get their money back as well as demanding the game get changed, for the last five minutes. So much for the developers having their freedom of expression.

@woard how exactly would a developer get money for a hard game then? A game designer should be free to choose how the player plays their game, whether it be easy or hard. What you suggest would basically eliminate any way for a dev to make money off of their difficult game.

@woard It's the consumers responsibility to be well enough informed about a very hard game's difficulty level and self-aware enough to know whether it is for them. It's not a product you can't use, it might just be a product that takes you way more practice than it takes the next guy. If you buy a Rubix cube, who are you going to blame and how do you justify your returning it because you gave up before figuring out how to solve it?

@VTorb I don't get it... making your game more accessible to more people is bad for sales? I play most games on the easiest mode and I still have difficulty playing them. I'm just not that good and getting good at them isn't something I'm interested in. I rather just enjoy games on an easier mode.

@woard Depends on where you live, here in Australia you generally have a 7 day return change of mind policy for physical media provided its in resellable condition, otherwise you can at least trade it in towards something you would play. And the Mass Effect 3 thing was story/lore related, not actual gameplay, so that is irrelevant.
