I'm so happy that they listened and put the ad at the beginning!
I guarantee you they didn't change it because some little babies cried about it.
Actually, I think they did. The very first episode was a test episode after all (in fact, they still are), so I think they were actually looking through comments to see what people's opinions on the episodes were. Remember how they had sound effects that were way too loud in the first one? They changed that as well. So yeah, they did change it because they realised people had a point when saying that it disturbs the flow of the show if the ad is right in the middle of the episode.
For some reason, that ad read really caught me wrong today, and pissed me off. Usually they're fine, but for some reason this one just.. wasn't fine.

Saw your comment before the video, so I immediately noticed, but funny enough it was that Sally had changed her shirt that caught my eye. Sally is the penultimate science bae.
Loving this show! I'm wondering if there are plans to add guests from other concentrations to broaden the range of topics. I'm currently a PhD student in physics and would love to see the kind of questions they can come up with regarding physics phenomena.
While it is clear that this format is inevitable due to Sally not being based in Austin, I have to admit that I'd love her to be in a more regular Podcast setting. The interview-styled conversation they have is more efficient to be sure, but from an entertainment perspective, having her interact directly with other talent is bound to be more enjoyable of course.
I still love this serious of course. Keep up the good work, and I'm eager to see Sally stumble into the RT Podcast sometime in the far future again! This time they should have Ryan and Gavin on to discuss their Dice Debate xD
wasn't it flipping 3 coins in a row and not dice?, i believe it was flipping 3 coins in a row it would still be 50% chance overall to get heads. (Note i do know that the math is .5*.5*.5 which equals .125 or 12.5% chance to get heads 3 times in a row)

I wish it wasn't an interview or podcast setting. It gets boring no matter what. I think Sally should just host the show more as a vlog without Gus. And RT can edit it in post and add the effects and sounds.I like this show, but sadly Gus is useless on it. I think this show can be educational and fun... right now it's kinda boring watching them just talk.
