Great episode. I like the bit of side tracking in between questions, you can see they're both more comfortable with the show format and it makes it more entertaining.
It's good to know that Sally does the exact same thing I do when using any equation: just look up the constants every time you use them.

Did you realise that PH scale is actually just a logarithmic measure of the molarity of the H+(I believe its H+, it may be OH-), they are in all essential ways interchangeable, like any other two units that mean the same things, litres and pints for example.
Fucking hell these comments in bold about paychecks give me terminal ebolaids. Help.
What the? A pint is absolutely not the same as a litre - they are entirely different units of volume. A pint is half a quart, or an eighth of a gallon. A litre is slightly bigger than a quart, or slightly smaller than an imperial quart.

Jesus Christ, these ad reads at the top are killing me. I mind them less in The Know's stuff, because they have pretaped stuff, then intro screen, then useful content. It's less obtrusive. Also, Gus's segues, while almost kind of an inside joke on the podcast, just feel shitty when they transition in from nothing. My two cents, take it for what you will
No offense, I just reeeealy wanted to use the "flamebait" mod since I saw it on the list. This was the closest anyone's come to a good reason to use it so far.
@NermalTheHun It's a valid dissenting opinion, relevant to the video and supported by his reasoning. Why do you think it deserves to be called flamebait?
Because ad reads subsidise your membership, making it much cheaper than it would be otherwise - and if you really can't stand them, all you need to do is press the right arrow on your keyboard 3-4 times and they magically disappear.
