You know, it's pretty frustrating that they post these on Facebook a solid week before they post it on their own site, for members who directly pay them for content. Like, seriously?
Considering Facebook literally spies on you through your phone's microphone to "personalise your adverts" I'm surprised anyone still uses it, let alone supports it.
You are aware that FIRST members pay for content and early access, right? Facebook users don't. I don't know who's harebrained idea it was to post this on social media before their own website filled with fans and sponsors, but this sure is a real marketing screw up.
10 days early on facebook, what do we even pay for on here? 15 minute post-shows?
Considering these are episodes which just wouldn't exist at all without the facebook promotion (not part of the actual next season of MDB), I really don't care that they go up on facebook first.
I love how Gus got roped into being in 2 of these.
Lmao the 'Ghost' scene with the pottery was great. I just imagine they accutally got James to be the ghost for some reason i find that funnier if he was the one under the sheet.
I'd take the Grim Reaper role for the money. I get to choose who lives and who dies.
Loving the MFM at the end there Mariel and in Always Open
Wait this isnt a new episode. I saw this on facebook like last week. Wheres the new one?
This was brought up in the most recent RT podcast. Basically, the first 6 (?) MDB of this season go on facebook first because FB wanted to fund it, AND a second production that was otherwise outside of RoosterTeeth's logistics. So these first few will come out on facebook first, then a week later they will appear on the RT website. It is a necessary evil to get more MDB and a new production that the guys at RT have been wanting to do for a long time, but just couldn't justify doing it.
They mentioned in a Podcast (I believe it was the RTPodcast) that MDB would be shown on Facebook first. I believe it's explained more in depth on the podcast but I genuinely can't remember which one it was.
Same here what happened?
What did they change the paying Sponsor member tier name to?
I always love when Elyse does these. And I laughed so hard at dead Gus in a canoe
SSDGM!
yess love this!!
Death's Hourglass is to let him know when your time is up and Death's Scythe is for cutting the Soul away from the Dead and then Death will ferry The Souls to the afterlife.
Wow I feel such a nerd for that explanation.
Wasn't the scythe also used for keeping bad spirits at bay? I though I read that somewhere.
Oh please, someone tell me that Elyse's ghost is James
Nah pretty sure it was Blane sadly
