I remember we had a lovely cat that I told everyone jumped into the car (the undercarriage (if you call it that)) but when we checked he wasn't there. Magician cat.
We were about 45 mins driving when we stopped and he got out and chased some birds in a field. I was so ecstatic I was right. Not so ecstatic now that the cat was gone. Bugs though? Bugs can all die. All they seem to do is fly into my eyes.
