Prince of Tennis is a nice sports anime, and - if you can count it - Hikaru no Go (technically a games anime, but it's a similar vibe, so...)
I think Victor needs Yuri and Yuri needs Victor because they both inspire each other. Their healthy relationship is built on mutual respect and love, making them the best anime portrayed power couple I've ever seen. I don't think Victor will leave, I think it's been confirmed that they will stick together through the end, but I think conflict will (hopefully) arrive in Yuri needing to kinda step up his eros as pointed out by Chris in the last episode (Yuri has an innocent kind of eros).
Victor has been a pillar of strength so far and maybe as the show goes on some weaknesses will start to show? This whole show has been a 10/10 for me (Yssa is my soul sister omg) and I have confidence that the conflict will be not only be natural but will also give more character development.
