He doesn't have to listen to the comment section. But the show is in my opinion less entertaining when his bias is so prevalent. Shannon has a bias towards Kansas City teams, but he only mentions it when it is part of the topic at hand. Jack is more entertaining when he has someone like Joel or Brandon to push his buttons.

I had typed out a long rant (longer than what I'm about to type) about them not talking about hockey and I just... no one ever reads this stuff. There's no point in even trying anymore. They're just going to talk football, and when football is over they'll do a special to recap that season (most likely), and then move onto baseball or basketball. Pretty much any hockey, soccer, and other sports' fans are going to get snubbed out when it comes to this show. I'll still watch it because it's a good show, but it's like damn... You talk about intensity, no other sport is more physical than hockey (guys have played in the Stanley Cup Finals with broken bones). You talk about how every game matters in the NFL because there's so few in a season... In the NHL, every single shot on net matters. It's a game of inches and a little this way or a little that way is the difference between scoring the game winning/tying goal or missing completely and that's the game. The penalties matter -you can't simply make a great block or a pass and regain lost yards. In hockey, you do something stupid and fuck up, congratulations, your team is now down a player, the other team gets to take a faceoff from your zone, and you get to try and defend your net for the next 2-4 minutes down a player.

Anyway, to whoever downvoted you, The World Juniors is kind of a big deal in the hockey world. It's like a presentation of future draft picks and showing off current young/rookie talent at the same time. That and national bragging rights that come with taking home gold and/or beating rival teams/countries.
