I would just like to say to Joel on the Football (soccer) ref thingy, its not becuase he yelled at her for geneder that got him in trouble, FIFA and all its derivatives (UEFA, CAF, CONOCAF, the FA etc...) Are trying to get rid of the racism, sexism and whatever else, in the sport the FA does tend to ban fans and fine players that are racist. So there's no reason why the DFB or the team wouldn't punish him like that.

The FCS college playoffs have started and you guys haven't touched on that. NDSU is looking for their 5 straight title this year and is a story worth mentioning

In my home town of Kitchener, we have something called "Teddy Bear Toss Night" for our home team, the Kitchener Rangers where, after the first goal that the Rangers Score, people just PELT the ice with stuffed animals which are donated to charity. so it looks like this happens in the WHL as well.
