I hope this isn't one big long ad. Ellie is awesome and I can't wait for her to be in more stuff!
She's getting her own show similar to her stuff in the Vlog
Seeing that pullup makes me thankful I'm a guy.
I will be on the look out for their online thing, can't get motivated to get out to a gym or exercise with little to no guidance.
Ugh. Guy on rowing machine at 3:58 is gonna have a bulging disk if he continues with that form.
Yeah saw that and cringed, also looks like the guy standing right behind Ellie is thinking the same thing. Usually I'll go and talk to the person about it, if they're doing damage to their body. If it's just someone handling weights above their limit to seem cool (y'all know the type) I just stand and chuckle silently from a distance.
Omg i was so confused when the outro song played at the start lmaoo
if you need a training partner im free ellie. you know js
Yes sponsored by onnit again! A herbal supplement company that can't prove it's claims and shouldn't be operating as free as it does from the FDA. I haven't dreamed like this since I started Onnit AlphaBRAIN(TM)! I mean I get it RT. But sometimes you have to put your foot down and have guidelines for sponsors. And ones that over and over again lie about the results of their product for marketing shouldn't be allowed. Especially when its a "drug" (all of this is at the end of the day) and I assume most people watching at 13-20ish. So good on you for advertising terrible solutions to poor diet and poor nutrition. Do you know how to be healthy? You eat what your body asks for. Your genes decide your weight and only if you go against you bodies natural cravings and eat trash instead of the broccoli then that's your fault and working out or supplements aren't going to help you. There are billions of years of evolution backing me up here. 30 years of nutrition science without any clinical studies does not beat that.
I thought Onnit was a scam didn't this stuff turn out just to be the definition of "placebo effect"
body weight exercises do have some merit. but the "lifestyle" and brand they push is the same garbage as crossfit. they're trying to put a brand name on a type of exercise. I get the appeal of having a trainer. but I think most people would be better off joining a normal gym and planning a routine on their own.
But the thing about a trainer though is that they are definitely going to be more knowledgeable about better ways of planning and doing a routine than you.
Trainers will have knowledge of lifts and how to perform them and what muscles they target. You can find all of that and more online. As someone who has lifted most of their life, I can tell you at certain points in your development one lift may be more effective than another. There isn't a trainer on the planet who can watch you do a lift and tell the level of muscle activation you're achieving. If you're new, self-conscious, and have the money, sure hire a trainer. They'll guide you on your fitness journey. But I think most people would rather save money and educate themselves. And in the end you'll likely have better results.
I really like Ellie, but this did feel like one very long advert. I get it RT gotta make money but eurgh, Get Ellie back to doing more what she was doing in Burnies vlog that was great content!
This is the Lab, for content that (currently) doesn't fit anywhere else and/or tests ideas, failed episodes. They had to conclude the onnit6 thing somewhere.
Ellie is going to get her own show, called Skill Tree, where she'll be doing more apocalypse training.
Oh ok that makes sense, i'm fairly new to the site thanks for letting me know and not being a dick about it :D Cant wait to see Skill Tree that sounds awesome.
