I love seeing how much sooner things seem to be happening now, because it provides all this time to make sure things are done properly without overtaxing everyone. I remember the guys always talking about "We finished this like 5 minutes before the episode aired" back in the day, for both RWBY and RvB, and while it was.... impressive? I guess? At the time? Man that was not the best way to do things and thinking back on it just holy shit.
As for criticism, I am still learning how to ask for feedback on art, and I don't do it enough (outside of close friends but luckily I have a few who know what they're talking about and don't sugarcoat things) but I agree with basically everything you guys said. Criticism is important, but it needs to be actually helpful and constructive and not just BS meant to hurt. And for me positive critiques in the vein of "I like this thing in particular and how this thing was done" is as important as "I think this thing could have been done better in this way".
Super excited for Yssa's show, can't wait to see it!
