@woard Okay, so the live action movies we currently have made by Paul Anderson are garbage, but this new Netflix one is based off the plot of the first and second R.E games, and maybe even before the events of the first game. Yeah, people having been crying about it because the made the cast diverse, but honestly, if that's their issue with it, they're the problem.

@WasThatUrBrain What exactly about my comment made you think I'm racist... anyway the fact that they fallowed the plot of the first and second games is the problem, granted with those games your only looking at 5 hours or so of content, but you still can't get it into a 2 hour movie. In addition the changes, like Clair trying to convince Chris that Umbrella is bad makes me think they didn't do a good job story wise. I want it to be good but I'm not hopeful.

@woard Didn't say you were a racist, I said racists are outing themselves by whining they don't like the diversity in the movie. Regardless, Claire did warn Chris in the games, she was researching what devious shit Umbrella was up to while she was in college, before the events of Re2. This is confirmed in the first and third animated movies, which are all canon.
