God. I miss living in Austin. I had to leave eventually because of the high living expense about 10 years ago. I just happened to look at the apartment complex I lived at that cost 1k per month for a 2 bed 1 bath. That same place is now $1600!!! This was just a random place off East Riverside!! Not a fancy area at all! That price is ridiculous for those apartments.

This was pretty cool. being from a smaller area, all I can think about is how when I go on the local trails, paths, rivers, etc. I don't see a single other person on a good day. I'd love to live somewhere with so much to offer if it were possible for me, but also would totally be overwhelmed by the sheer amount of people
