How attached are you to the current Pokemon Blaine has in his party? You might want to get less attached before watching this episode. You've been warned.
I’ve loved watching this series. Every time Blaine is in a battle I have a heart attack and scream. Salute to the fallen o7 ....... I also love that Jon is a little ball of sunshine and laughter with the PokeFacts and such to help out his buddy. True hero right there.
[Me watching Boba Fett vs. Morpeko]
"No, Counter doesn't work like that!"
[Morpeko uses Bite; Boba Fett thrown into yellow]
"Oh NO!"
[Realizes what Counter will do]
"Oh YES!"
*For those who don't know, Counter takes whatever Physical damage the Pokemon took and throws it back double. So 50 damage on Wobbuffet becomes 100 on Morpeko, etc. It worked here because Bite is Physical. Mirror Coat does the same thing with Special attacks. So if you suss out which attacks the opponent has, Wobbuffet can make an excellent fallback.
Now that that's done....WHAT THE HECK ARE YOU DOING YOU THOUGHT ABOUT USING BITE ON A SCRAGGY???????? SCRAGGY IS DARK/FIGHTING THAT'S A DOUBLE RESISTANCE!! AND LOW KICK DOES MORE DAMAGE THE HEAVIER THE OPPONENT IS SO OF COURSE IT WAS GONNA DO A LOT TO JUDGE DREDD "CHUNKY ROCK" THE DREDNAW! WHAT! IF YOU CAN CATCH SNORLAX IN THIS GAME NEVER PUT IT AGAINST A FIGHTING-TYPE!!! I haven't seen any of the other videos
@PhantomFeathers Rock and Ground - In Gen I, the most common Rock-types were Geodude and Onix, which you could find early on. Since both are Rock/Ground, it's easy to forget that Electric affects Rock normally. And hazardous, when you start Nuzlocking with an Aerodactyl...
